Hi BUMMERS, I was wondering if you have made beef jurkey on the pit boss. I have made some and it turns out great. But would like to get your thoughts about that.
Hi Bummers, l bought one for Mine and could never get it to work correctly . I was wondering if it is set up for an Android phone or Apple phone, Or does it matter ( just wondering?)

I know the olld controller you couldn't go in 5 degrees increments, can you with this new wifi controller and can you set it at 275 where the old one you couldnt?
I put one on mine it was just the same. I think the only difference is that it is Wi-Fi , wasn't very impressed with it so I put the original controller back in.
Yea as Pluto Bluto said, it's pretty much the same, but going to find out more this weekend, didn't have a lot of time to test after the install....but will be doing a follow up video on it.

Hope your WiFi and Bluetooth works fine for you. Mine is spotty at best. But I have the Austin XL.
Haven't had time to really test it out good yet, but will be this weekend. Have very high end wifi in the house....so we will see.........

hey man , do you use any type of flame heat shield cover ? I'm looking into that now to try and even out the Temps across the grill.
If you mean the big cover made for the lid to help in cold weather, no i do not have one.
I ues a lodge cast iron flat grill it works perfectly
How difficult was it to remove the screws on the bottom of the hopper? I can only get two out, the rest aren't budging
Mine came out very easily, they might have striped the screws putting them in, never know.

Using mine on an iPhone XR not sure if it makes a difference or not.
