  • Hey there family,
This weekend at Formula Drift St. Louis was one of the most memorable weekends of my life. From getting the opportunity to save the weekend for Rome with a steering rack, to getting to watch him qualify and battle his way into the top 16 with that rack, to getting to interview him and learn valuable information on setting up proper E36 drift cars- I had the time of my life.
I know this is a VERY long video, but I promise the information shared in this video is beyond valuable and reputable for anyone looking to build their own E36 drift car. Rome is one of the most honest, straightforward, and open drivers in FD I've ever met. Rome's team is far smaller and lower budget than almost every other team, so the decisions he makes about his setup are all about maximizing usability and reliability.
I really hope this information helps someone out there. Even if you aren't looking to build a serious E36 drift car, I hope that you at least learn something new or are entertained. I love you guys so much, keep those heads up high and get ready for some more updates on my own drift car coming very soon!
    Much love,
    Griffen

Rome is so dope . His keep it simple philosophy needs to be everyone's doctrine. Simplicity keeps you motivated longer ! #givemodernshell !!

Yes exactly!! He has such a good winning formula that allows him to do so much with so little, I think everyone in drifting could learn from that!

Man thank you so much for coming over and checking it out! I am a total E36 nerd, obsessed with these things. Most of the questions were ones I had been genuinely curious about from my observations and knowledge of the chassis. I’m glad you thought they were helpful, thank you so much for subscribing!!

Nothing is technically superior to LS for a comp car. Inversely, the LS has the least steez. It is a troubling paradox.

I think only the m50 or m50nv was the head that came with the 7mm valves and had a 36mm face ? But correct me if I’m wrong the m52/s52 use a 6mm valve 33mm face. I think it was one year on the early m50/nv engine that had the beefy valve which I’m always keeping an eye out for
