I heard someone say to look for a person who is a good teacher too. Someone who will answer your questions thoroughly and not be condescending. I love this channel! So approachable & helpful 🌹
Thanks so much for this video. Many people have the wrong understanding of a financial advisor. I’ll admit, I did when I was younger. However, I got the opportunity to talk to a financial advisor at a luncheon one day and really understood the reason I needed one. I was 25 years old when I got one. I would advise others to really consider this if you are not strong with your finances. Thanks for sharing this information.
This vid came right in time! I am about to meet with my advisor during this week and I kept asking myself is it necessary but all the things you verbalized in this video is the exact reason why I need to speak with her.
This video came right on time! My wife and I have been thinking about finding a financial advisor for a few months now and this was very insightful. PS - video quality is great!!
I have been asking myself this question for a while. I really want to learn more about investing and I'm currently reading your clever girl finance investing book. Pretty good information I am gathering from that. You really break it down anyway that I am able to understand. Love all of your videos.

I’m 65, soon to be retired, solo, no children. I do not think i can afford $350/hr for a fee only advisor. Currently, I’m with Schwab’s intelligent portfolio but i need someone in my corner that i can rely on for investment guidance. Schwab’s intelligent portfolio only provides me with a retirement plan and works with me on budgeting but not investing.
Thank you for making this video!! This is super helpful advice. Just curious, but do you think “Vanguard personal advisers” may be a good option? I know some people recommend against advisers who are affiliated with a brokerage firm, but Vanguard is very reputable. Any thoughts on this?
Hi there - it's worth speaking to them if it's free. Keep in mind that you don't need to commit to anything - it's a simple conversation so you can gain insight. Vanguard is very reputable and has some of the best and lowest fee funds. :)
I think investors should always put their cash to work, especially In 2025, we'll start to see more market diversification. I'm hoping to invest about $350k of my savings in stocks against next year. Hope to make millions in 2025
Since risk is at an all-time high right now, perhaps you should be a little more patient and return when it has decreased. Alternatively, you can consult a trained financial expert for strategy.
Yes true, I have been in touch with a brokerage Advisor. With an initial starting reserve of $80k, my advisor chooses the entry and exit commands for my portfolio, which has grown to approximately $550k.
My CFA Julianne Iwersen Niemann a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further... She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market..

I’ve been looking to switch to an advisor for a while now. Any help pointing me to who your advisor is?

I searched for her full name online, found her page, and sent an email to schedule a meeting. Hopefully, she responds soon. Thank you
