Thanks. What do you mean the synch issues have been fixed? I haven't followed this game in a long time. Does that mean it works with Hourglass (i.e. the main TASing program for Windows games, at least when I made this TAS) better or something?
@zyto The game is now primarily TASed using libTAS because hourglass is much more unstable. Even if you use a Windows machine like me, there are ways to run libTAS. Additionally, VVVVVV received a new update recently: Version 2.3. It's made lots of small improvements to the game but the most impactful feature for TASers is that the 1-frame input delay is removed and also includes options to re-enable glitches from older versions. From my experience TASing the game on libTAS, the only desync I've seen is Gravitron RNG being different between machines.
Idk if it's been figured out since then, but at 26:28, for some reason, if you go back through the gap, you get sent to the next room, which should save some time
@@balneor I try to go the center platforms as fast as I feasibly can, I believe. In the room before it, it doesn't look like I can feasibly arrive to the center of the next room any faster, so I go to the left side of the room then just try to reach the center platforms in the next room as fast as I can.
@@zyto7904 I believe that in my run of the level on my channel, at 1:54, I get there faster. You land pretty far back from the middle while I immediately land there. And my execution was bad even, I could have made only disappear one platform, the first one I touched, and that would have been it. You had to touch three. That's where I come from And you can still do this with the earliest flip from the bottom, and not get uncumbered by any of the middle obstacles
I like the personality of the monitor things
One of the greatest VVVVVV TASes! Would love to see a 100% version of this now that v2.3 has fixed a lot of the synchronization issues. :)

The greatest VVVVVV TAS of all time. SomeGuy712x would like this.
OMG! SO GOOD TAS! Hope you'll make 100% TAS speedrun soon :)
This was a fun watch. Great TAS!

I'm surprised by just how many bugs were in VVVVVV

And at 26:49, how is it faster to go to the side rather than the middle to reach the center platforms faster ?
Either way, very nicely done.
That most certainly would work, the first suggestion.

Go get [/], [II] and [X] and play all of them💀
What is that? If there's well-made custom levels I might actually do that.

I assumed most of these were kaizos, so I only actually played a few of them.
What does that mean?
@@zyto7904 a kaizo is designed to mess with the player and is super hard, like I Wanna Be The Guy, or Mario Maker hard levels.
