Apart from the substance, what is extremely interesting, having one one side a British locutor and on the other side an American one, is to really grab and compare the British and the American ways of speaking and accents. Even the beginners I guess and the intermediate will very clearly hear the differences and all indeed boils down to and pertains to two main things : Schwa and especially of course the way of pronouncing the 'r's ! Amazing !
As I beginner, I would probably have had troubles to tell one or the other but having imersed myself in the language for a few years now, I immediately can tell whether a person is British or American. Now, even if American English has its charm, my preference personally still goes to British English after all these years which, being French, is the one I originally learnt at school. I somewhat find it less 'exhuberant', more temperate, sweeter and softer. 🙂
... and not swedeRR and sofdeRR ... 😂 as the charming Lindsay would say, right? ;-)
Thank you for this lovely and interesting exchange and laid back discussion 🙏👏and Bisous to the both of you my lovelies. 😘😘🌹🌹❤❤

In Italy unfortunately ww move back fir the most part to the old way. I can't understand why but that's it. The percentage of remote working is decreasing every day
