That’s why I personally don’t ship cards in those white envelope for the cheaper price. When you ship USPS with those the White Envelopes go through Rollers for sorting and run the risk of that happening to cards. It’s cheaper shipping cost but could get damaged in the sorting process
I have had a discussion with the post office workers and they don’t like the top loaders because they have to run these envelopes through some machine and so the first thing the postal workers do when they see the envelope is rigged is they bend the envelope to see why it’s rigged which is probably why you get the creases in the cards, I send all my cheap cards in a card saver because it never has been rejected and sent back to me like top loaded cards have and also they don’t question the contents because it’s not rigged inside the envelope. Some people don’t like getting card savers because they feel it doesn’t protect the card but I guarantee you it’s safer than having the workers bending the envelope!
Thank you for the insight. I think the way the eBay labels work now it should be clear by looking at it that it is a card and the employees should be made aware to not bend the envelopes. I think it’s bad practice to bend any mail and they should come up with some other way to solve the issue.
@@fjfsc I agree the reason I got into the discussion with the employee was because I asked if he could stamp it do not bend and he said no I would have to purchase first class postage for that and that was the first thing he did he looked at the envelope and gave it a bend I was like bro what are you doing? For the longest time some of the workers didn’t even know about the PWE eBay service, go figure! Suck man I’m sorry your card was damaged but they really don’t care about our packages, unfortunately.
@@g311music The thing is that those labels are considered first class. I do a lot of selling on eBay and close to the top right corner it says first class on it. That should make it eligible for the stamp in that case. Right?
@@fjfsc I’m not sure it depends on the postal worker, the guys I deal with are at the main hub at the airport so they are very strict and do everything by the book, I’ve noticed it just depends on which worker you get but these guys won’t do it, I used to write myself do not bend and they wouldn’t take it unless I paid extra. Also when this service first started alot of my cards weren’t getting delivered because they said they were too heavy and needed extra postage so they would just leave them sitting in the post office! It’s really crazy some of the things they do, I also would get cards sent back to me months later!
@g311music They need to be held more responsible as a company but they have a legal monopoly over letter mailing so it’s impossible to give them a competitor to force them to have better business practices. Just a shame.

From my experience it is okay with normal cards but when you have a jersey card that has a weakened structure it becomes an issue.
