Can pysam use sub hourly time series data. Sam only uses tmy dataset.

SAM and PySAM can both run simulations on weather data with up to one-minute time steps.

Yes, PySAM is Python package so it is easier to use in your Python scripts than the wrapper provided with the SAM Software Development Kit (SDK) as described on the SAM website: sam.nrel.gov/software-development-kit-sdk.html
