    Hello Mr Woodro, I like you machine very much, there is however one point I am not sure about. As the girder under the rail is also the jaw of the vise, there must be some amount of deformation on the rail, which has a direct influence on the accuracy of the machine. Is the aluminium profile under the rail so stiff, that that deformation is neglectable? I just put in in calculator and I came on deflection of ca. 1mm on 2m girder with 90x180mm profile under the force of 200kg. That looks a lot. Thanks in advance for your answer. I am an mechanical engineer, so such a things are always interesting to me :-)

      I dare to correct you: the vise beam profile is 80x160 mm, not 90x180mm.

      And the beam under the rail has a profile of 160x160 mm.

      In addition, the structural aluminum profile is lined with 40 mm thick wood.

      In addition, the movable vise jaw consists of two beams. Each beam has a section of 80x160 mm, and they are lined with wood 40 mm thick. As a result, the total width is 40+80+40+40+80+40=320 mm. As a result, the milling accuracy guaranteed by engineer Lee Hyun, is no less than 0.2mm.

      @@yakov-woodworker Thanks for your response, I have actually no idea, what profile is there, the 90x180 is the biggest one the Rexroth offers... So I just roughly calculated with that one. Two beams you mentioned looks ok, that is why I didn't mentioned them. Their deflection is not so critical for the accuracy. If you're right and he has 160x160 profile under the rail, than there's still some 0,3mm deflection there under the force of 200kg. Maybe my estimation here is exaggerated. I can see in his videos, that he fixes things just very slightly in the vise.

    Can this machine be controlled entirely with CNC?
