It comes with awesome Templates, and features, and provides shortcodes for you to add to your pages/posts regardless of using Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, etc.
And it is FREE.

I watched this review on Paul's channel. This has to be one of the most innovative slider creation tools that I have seen for as long as I've been in this racket, and that's been since nearly the beginning of the Internet. For those who claim that your pagebuilder can do this, I can assure you, none of them do it anywhere close to the capabilities of this.
The ease-of-use and flexible customizations takes this slider builder to a whole new level. If you really want to get dirty, you can use custom CSS to have it inherently pull in your fonts and colors from your site. However, you're not going to believe me. So the easiest thing to do is go to the plugin page and download this and give it a whirl yourself.
Agreed. It's almost fate that we did this at the same time!

The background behaviour is the same as in Rev Slider or Smart Slider 3. A background image is a background image, it's constrained to the main container, you can only decide if the size is cover or contain. Same as in Elementor sections, although we can have a custom background size in there.
Have never been keen on using sliders, but this looks interesting and will give it a look.

Hey man, How did you know I was thinking about rebuilding one of my sites with sliders? Your timing was perfect. I saw this video last night. I was amazed at what this slider can do. All for free. This slider is going to give the other sliders a run for the money. (so to speak). As this slider develops, I would be happy to pay for it. As long as it's not some insane pricing structure.
UPDATE. I was playing around with this for the last couple of hours and I have discovered a few things that need to be improved on. I sent them feedback and we shall see what happens. I still think this slider has great potential. Just needs some bugs worked out.
I have found some more bugs too, and I agree that the missing Layer window doesn't help. I'm doing an updated video today.
Tried this and hoped it would prevent me from doing Custom CSS/JS things to get nice Kenburns bg pic animations, but it seems in 2023 this feature is still PRO/Premium like many other features also in Depicter. As nice as the reveal pic/text animations are, I still have not found a very powerful open source hero element with Kenburns and Video support.
You should consider getting the circle with your face out the way. Make it smaller or get a canvas setup that has space for it. Content is great. But for me it’s always in the way of seeing what your trying to show.

Been giving this a whirl and pretty impressed with a few concerns though. I cannot see a way of making a TH-cam video as a video background, the make background button disappears when using a TH-cam video. A bigger concern is it seems to run/load video locally. I used one of the stock videos as a background, when I checked on GTMetrix my scored dropped as it had to load a 35mb, my understanding was loading big files is not best practice. Thoughts or am i being a muppet in missing something

i only made a slider with the preset slides - and it definitely slowed my page down. I am going to try a simpler slider that i make from scratch and see how that goes. I really do not like how much slower it made my page load. I do love the features on it though, so maybe I just need to play with it a bit more.
@@websquadron what is the difference between inserting it as a shortcode, as opposed to HTML?
@@StarleneBreiter Good question - HTML just takes more effort a well as adding styling, whereas the shortcode is all contained. Of course, you'd have more control with HTML.

i couldn't get this to work on my local dev environment once i clicked "create slider" i got a blank screen... when i examined the chrome dev console tab i had a load of errors one of which was a 404 on loading the depicter dashboard?

@@websquadron it worked when i first heard about it and installed it a few weeks back but this latest version for me will not work at all... i have contacted the developer and awaiting answers...

Same here. Fresh Install (Flywheel Local), no other plugins, blank black screen when creating a new slider. Same on Chrome, Firefox, Safari (all Mac)

My first question is: Does it support a CSS gradient background? All the examples I see use image backgrounds for gradients. I tried to put in a custom CSS background, and it put it over everything else in the slider.

After few weeks I'm having error 403 After trying to edit the slider i made
Why position of items /shapes chnages when i create new slide my previous design destroyed . Position of shapes text etc

Why I cannot import the template? There is a error 500 every time I tried to imported a template in Depicter

Double click on the image to edit image, crop, size, filters.

Nice slider, would buy pro if they offered unlimited websites or better still an LTD. And then there is this approach which I hate: "If you don’t renew your license, the sliders on your website will remain intact; however, you won’t be able to create a new slider or edit existing ones."

Admired this for too long, only to discover it was glitchy far too late. Learn from my mistake. Don't be like me. While aesthetics are important, they mean nothing without functionality.
I prefer to just use the standard El Carousels now rather than adding in an extra plugin.
