Masunaga | The 000 vs The One Hundred

- In 2023 Masunaga created a new frame called The One Hundred. It was mad as an homage to the Masunaga 000. This video compares and contrasts the new The One Hundred frame with the classic and iconic 000 that dates back to the 1960's. The One Hundred is sized quite similarly to the 000, but it has a few small fit differences such as the bridge fit. It appears slightly wider on the face do to its more rectangular shape, although is not really any wider by size.

Was the 000 designed for both men and women? They feel very loose around my ears even after adjustment. They also slide down my nose.
We fit them on men and women. If they feel loose around your ears then that sounds like you need another adjustment. If they are adjusted properly then they should not slip on most people unless they are not the right size frame for you. Sometimes adding custom adjustable nose pads will help the slipping. This is something that we offer.
Thank you! They’re very loose over my ears, seem way too large for my small head but I was assured they’d fit fine after adjustment. I’ll go back for another adjustment.

I just got the 000 in olive. My husband and I were debating whether it has a tinge of gray in it. What do you think? Straight olive or a little olive-gray?
How’s the bridge of the 102? Is it wider like the 100 or is it more like the 000? The wider the better for my nose 👃🏽
