Because of the link to the resurrection of believers, part of my Yom Teruah performance is to wear white garments and keep an oil lamp burning. I’ve learned much from your “ancient Hebrew wedding model.” There is so much that Yeshua’s listeners would have picked up automatically and I’m trying to regain some of that experiencial understanding.
Here’s some of what I’ve discovered:
A lamp low on oil will put out a foul stench.
Since clay is porous, it’s difficult to calculate how much oil you’ll need because of seepage.
You can extinguish the flame by adding too much oil at once.
White is so difficult to keep clean, even a garment fresh from the wash may reveal a stain.
Truly, being ready requires vigilance! I pray we’ll all be ready. Maranatha!

Praise YAH!!! So happy you cleared up for me the Rose ha'Shanan issue. I could never understand or make sense of why 2 different calendars could be biblical, since I could not find 2 in scripture. I never could find peoples reasoning behind the Rose ha'Shanan belief as accurate, but I never argued about it figuring eventually the truth would come out for all to see. So thank you so much and bless you for your diligent service to YAH!!!

From my understanding New Moon was added. It's supposed to say New Month. Judism added it as they do everything by the moon.

I think that the mistranslation of the word month and moon confuses the issue for a lot of people Strongs H2320 - month is not the same as H3394 - moon

What bible version is he using? Because @21:21 the KJV doesn't say that.
    Psalms 104:19
“He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.”
    His version
He made the moon for appointed times; the sun knows its going down.

Thanks Michael for your research and it’s great to see your passion. We are also searching about the calendar. Question about the full moon - if we start with the sliver as Rosh Hodesh, for Yom teruah, day 1 of Sukkot will not fall in full moon, but on the following day when the gibbous is waning. Would be great to have your perspective. Shalom

@@timsalo1259Truth! Its translation is “month.” We aren’t instructed to site a moon to begin our months, which is humanly fallible . I’ve been studying the Enoch/Zadoke/Priestly/Temple calendar as found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. It makes complete sense. It’s not dependent on man to figure out dates, it’s all constructed by יהרה / Yah Himself, so that we won’t be off by a day or two or ten. Check out The Zadok Way.

Wow thankyou Michael I am currently keeping the Zadok calender..not for any reason I've never been dogmatic on calenders I don't think anyone can say they are right when everyone believes their right. So I just currently follow this one. But I've always thought it is odd how they attack the moon when it's in scripture. You have given me food for thought as you always do. Praise Yah.

It depends which calendar you follow. There is the calculated Hillel calendar and observational calendars based on the more Biblical sighting of the first sliver of the new moon. Some observe the moon based on the sighting of the moon in Israel and others consider the diaspora and use a local moon observation.

Personally I follow the Zadok Solar calender from jubilees and Enoch. Alot of it depends on what you believe is scipture and historical. Alot of people follow a solar one due to the dead sea scrolls.

To understand correctly Michael, we have the conjunction ( completely dark moon)and a day later we have the new moon? With the sliver? So the dark moon is not the new moon?
