I was 2 days old when these NBC shows aired
I was born four days after these commercials were aired...but I was born in Spain 😅
This was in the days before NBC bought WTVJ & switched over to Channel 6. WCKT became WSVN & has been with Fox for 33 years.
Lowenbrau, I miss that beer.
1982 introduced 2 good things a talking plant and kitt
Is that Elisabeth Shue in the Burger King commercial?
Yes
She and Lea Thompson did, between them, over a dozen spots for BK in the 1982-3 season.
NBC - Just Watch Us Now!
Back when they could say Christmas instead of holiday.
I find it strange that outside of North America, you still commonly hear Christmas mentioned during seasonal advertising, even if those nations are just as religiously diverse. I guess the Britishness of the word "holiday" sort of tripped it up a bit, but even over there, you more frequently hear "Happy holidays" in reference to Christmas than ever before, with "festive" another common replacement there.
more political correctness bs
LOL...10.9% financing..what a deal!!!
