Lanz Carnival - Zortziko, tribute to Jesús Román Ecay, accordionist musician
On Saturday February 13, a tribute to Jesús Román Ecay, accordionist musician, was held at civivox Iturrama, on the anniversary of his death.
His family would like to thank the attendees, who accompanied us on such a cold day; to the promoters, Cándido, Andrés and Josu; to the entertainers, Voces Navarras, Begoña Arboniés, Gemelas Vega, Rafael González, Arantxa Hernández, Lali Jausoro, Reyes Aristu, Chuchín Ibáñez accompanied by Patxi and Roberto, Hugo Mesino, interpreting La comparsita; to the technicians of
sound; to Félix Carmona; Lola Eguren; to the town of Lantz, with its mayor at the head, who danced the zorziko (leaving their town in full carnival), to Serafín Ramírez who served as presenter.
Also our thanks to the Navarran centers of Rosario (Argentina) and Santiago de Chile, Sandalio Monreal, Miguel Sanz Sesma, for their writing from Washington; to the employees of the
civivox, so diligent ... Anyway, to the whole world that made such an endearing act possible.

Hola Andrea el Carnaval de Lanz es una de las fiestas más importantes que se celebran en Lanz y el más multitudinario de Navarra.

@@Josean1955 thanks. I mean that in this video I dont hear the zortziko rhythmic pattern. ;) I hear a waltz and a polka, therefore I asked "where is the zortziko" :)

Certo, zortziko é un 5/8, e esta peza comeza cun 3/4 no paseo e logo pasa a un 2/4. Peculiaridades!
