Hi, may I ask a question Doc Rene? Is there such thing that the direct effects is significant, the indirect effects is not significant and the total effect is significant? How can I interpret this? The variables in my research are IV-Mindset, M-Psychological Well-Being and DV-Academic Performance. I'm so confused with these, I hope you can help me.
Hi Rene, Thanks for the video, I am just confused about something. Can I run a causal mediation analysis if my independent, dependent and, mediating variables are all binary?
Hello Doc Rene.. Thank you for this. Question: Does the result mean Partial Mediation? if so, should a direct effect in full mediation reveal "zero" accounting for its mediating variable? Looking forward to your reply. Thanks. I met you personally, I was the one who brought your manuscript to Doc Niclie as one of your external evaluators during your PhD journey. I'm still working on my Dissertation at DLSU.
@@JeremyAterrado hi! Traditionally, full mediation is when the direct effect in so longer significant while partial mediation is when the direct effect still significant. However, a more conventional way of reporting is to move away from the full and partial distinction. I suggest that you simply say there is mediation or none. No need to say if it is full or partial. I hope this helps.
Hi, I have a question. If the indirect relationship is significant and the direct relationship is not significant, but the total effect is also not significant, can we talk about mediation? Thank you for answer.
gurl you ate that
What is this a slang for?
@@renenob it means you explained it really well and that they understood it :)

Hmmmmmm..... the software can run it, but I am not sure if such measurement captures the phenomenon.
