😂 I’m such a nerd but I just couldn’t help myself 😂😂
I did a custom planner and loved it! I thought the up charge for the metal discs was fair I thought the extension packs were cool and a great price for 6 months. I got the cover that was dark with the butterflies and other bugs, as I call them. 😂 I live out in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma, Walmart is 45 mins away and our Homeland grocery store that was 9 miles away blew away in a tornado this past spring. One would think we would meal plan, oh nooooo, we just buy a bunch of groceries to have options and then waste food. But my mother is not a planner, I mean at all, I have never met someone that didn’t plan a single thing in their life but she is the most spontaneous person I have ever met. 😂 I am the exact opposite so was my late father, that man loved a good plan. 😂 I want to know the meals, and what nights we are doing them, what time we are gonna start cooking, every little detail. I finally after 3 years since the death of my father put my foot down and told her, no more wasting food, we are planning this and you are gonna live with the plan. She finally agreed and didn’t call me a control freak 🙄 saying she was tired of throwing food away. We kinda now have it under control, I mean I started this off by making these weird meals from the food we already have from 2 refrigerators and 2 deep freezers. 🙄 No kidding one night I fried shrimp and made chicken taquitos and that was the final straw of that plan, mom said, I am not doing this anymore, time to actually plan and go get groceries. We are in week one and so far so good. All of that to say I didn’t get a meal prep extension! 😂 I was afraid to upset the system I created without the meal prep system. 😂 Thanks for showing us your planner, I almost got that one! 💕
lol I love that you drug your mom along on your planning journey! I think that is such a great idea to use what you have- clear out the freezer and pantry. I probably should do this myself because I do feel after a month or two you start to forget what’s at the back or bottom of the freezer.
I’m really excited about the custom planners and hope they just keep adding to this idea. The disc system is the most customizable and it just makes sense!

I prefer the currently page at the end of the month because that's when I fill it out. So these extension packs are perfect having the currently page at the end the month instead of the beginning
I love this idea and I think I’m going to do the same thing and use it more as a monthly reflection and write down the shows that I’ve watched good memory or the books that I read.

I’m excited to see where Happy Planner goes w/ the custom planner idea. I wish the extension packs had spaced out tabs so they weren’t all bunched up at the top. I think this 1st release of the custom planners is a really great start to something that we’ve all been wanting! Especially the double sided dividers!!! That sold me lol

I picked the same cover as you, ans same discs (yesterday, before i saw this) but i got the dashboard layout, and I added the meal planner extension, though now i may want a few more extensions to make a journal like you mentioned! Love that idea!

So funny.. I LOVE the fact that the 'currently' is at the end of the month. It can be easily found just before the next month. And it stays within this months devider. Although they could have put it at the back if the month name page as well giving you a page to brainstorm and set up your month as well. Choices choices.... 😅
Another viewer said they prefer it at the end so they can reflect on the month and put things down that they did- which I think is a cool idea so I may try that! But again- I love that we have choices and can move it around to make it work for us. Thanks so much for watching!

Audrey yes I am in Michigan-Southeast. BUT we have good friends that own about 80 acres in Oscoda and spent many vacations up there. Where are you stationed now?
Also, the Will Trent books are so good I just keep going. I am on book 8 now, and I started them maybe 2-3 weeks ago. Have you watched the show? I think it’s called Will Trent. I almost don’t want to watch it now because I have a picture in my mind of what all the characters look like and if the actors don’t match that- I don’t know that I’ll like it.

We have not watched it either for the same reason you don’t. Just like the Wheel of Time and then to find out that no one who read the books liked it. Thank you for responding back. Have a wonderful day

They aren’t currently pages, they are monthly reflections to check in to see how the previous month went for that particular area. The currently pages in the custom planner were before the month.

I wanted this planner you got so so so much (and even more seeing it on your video). But I use a big for my catchall. I only use classic for faith and journaling (which their horizontal change makes impossible now). I hope they expand sizes next time!
That would be great! It’s such a bummer when they don’t offer the size you want. My hope is that this will do well, they will see that people really ultimately want to customize their entire planner system and make the entire line/website customizable. 🤞 Thank you so much for watching!

Looking at your haul, I’m brainstorming with you lol. The wellness & fitness are so similar that it makes sense to do a “wellness/fitness” stand alone planner. Of course people could integrate those in their one planner thing, bbuuttt, watching you it screams out to me that those extension packs being 6 months, if you combine them, you could work a whole year of a combined well/fitNess, one month use the one, 2nd moth use other layout n it’s Basicly same thing ISH. I know the extension packs are in the name it is to extend the planner, but these two being such a similar thing… … … thank you for sharing, love your choices 😊👍
Yes, you definitely could do that! I love that there are so many choices and combinations and ways to personalize these planners. I really hope they make their entire website “customizable” so we can pick and choose what we want in a planner. 😊
I found your page because I'm planning to order this planner with the strawberries, and wanted to see how it actually looks. Thank you for showing us! I've never used any extension packs like this, but I think I may want to try one or two. I'm a bit confused by the packs including a monthly calendar. I already barely use the one in my planner, and now there's another one (for each pack!)? I'd toss it but it seems you can't without losing pages. Why do they include this if it's just supposed to be an extension of the planner, that already has a monthly layout? And does anyone have any ideas for how to use the additional monthly calendar? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question. 🙃

Same! I just change the month on the currently page so it aligns. I want to be able to pull one whole month out of my planner. Been doing that for a while. Never made sense to me the way they have it. ❤

@@FakeItTilYaMakeItyep! I use it as a memory page. I print photos from the month and make it into like a scrapbook snap shot of that month. Then I take out the whole month at once. I didn’t like leaving the last week in the planner. Seemed silly to separate it like that. ❤
