Great video! You captured the realness of the trail and camping in wet weather well.
I have the Befeee as well(though use it in a gravity feed form). I find the filter needs to soak for a long while before it gets good flow. Next time I'm going to pre soak at home before packing it to see if it helps on the first day out camping.
I also have the trekology pillow. I pack it inside the footbix of my sleeping bag and use the stuff sack it came in for home storage.

Awesome adventure man! Completed this in 6 days last year and tried again to do it in 4 days back in April but got hit with runners knee near Silver Peak and had to hike out from there :( Will have to redeem myself lol. Keep it up :)

It looks like you had a fun trip despite miserable weather, hopefully you learned a lot from it. I've watched the conclusion to this already, its a shame you didn't get a clear day 2 because the view from about halfway up to the top of the crack is one of the best in Ontario.
My wife and I have completed the entire La Cloche Silhouette twice now, I would say a solo 5 day plan might have been a little over ambitious. You seem like a really nice guy, and it would be great to see you complete it too someday if that's a goal, but I would recommend maybe a few more shorter outings like this one to gain some more experience, and build some confidence, because it's really more of a mental challenge than a physical one. We've run across hikers in their teens, to retiree's on our trips around the loop so its not just something for elite athletes. While it is difficult, the rewards and feeling of accomplishment make it worth it. The Crack trail and the climb up is a very good taste of what at least 2/3 of the trail is like, with the rock scramble near the top as difficult as it gets on the trail on a technical level.
Never be afraid to challenge yourself, you'll be glad you did.

Thank you for the encouragement! It is definitely a challenging task. very Impressive you and your wife can do it twice. I am looking to complete it someday in the future for sure.

i used to backcountry camp with friends, now that we're all older its harder to do so i started car camping myself, and plan on back country camping myself. The big fear is being alone in bear country at a remote camp site. How did you get over this? what precautions did you take aside bring bear spray?

Thats a great question, ngl sometimes i get scared as well. Like in this video I was feeling uneasy at times. The area i live in only has black bears which is a lot better than grizzly bears, so that gives me a peace of mind. Also, i always try to carry my bear spray, satellite phone and a bushcraft knife with me at all times. Hope that helps.
