At least there is a BG mini fridge with the reward one patched in now. If you combine that with a counter with a dishwasher, and use a countertop oven (DHD) on top of the fridge, you can have a 2-tile kitchen. Swap out the countertop oven for other small appliances (pressure cooker, hot pot, ice cream maker etc) to vary the food you can make. A grill can also be placed outside (or you can use a neighbourhood one) for more meal options. Also, if you play with MOO turned on you can use the electric hob/stove top (DHD) like a prep surface and use the counter it's on too.
@@TheInsaneVane Kinda proving my point. You shouldn't have to own multiple packs to get a full tiny living experience. If someone only had base game and tiny living then it's not really a great inclusion of items in tiny living. At least a mini fridge and wall mounted shower should have been included in the pack plus a counter top oven like you mentioned!
Tiny living is THEEEEE BEST STUFF PACK! If you don't have ANY stuff packs, this is the one. The challenge of building a micro home is so fun and the GAMEPLAY! Every time I do a rags to riches or even start a legacy I use tiny homes. And the furniture is pretty cute too!
so my class was playing jeopardy that my teacher made and one category was "siblings or dating". my team was not doing well at it. BUT the 300 question was a picture of kayla and dan and when i tell you i SHOUTED the answer. i looked our team captain dead in the eye and was like "I PROMISE YOU THEY'RE DATING! MARRIED, ACTUALLY!" everyone thought i was insane for being so confident but like hey sims 4 comes in clutch
You've done a lot of christmas houses, but how about one that's optimized for outdoor lights? As many hanging lights, lighted decorations, even glowing items, as long as it looks cool at night
1:34 and a half. 32 tiles, and a half tile, as long as you don't tip over to 33. Not that it matters too much, if at all. It's just nice to have extra room!
I’m from Brazil and I’m simply addicted to your daily content. I played TS2 decades ago and it was magical. Until 2 months ago I had just TS4 base game and City Living and nowadays, inspired by urs videos, I’ve bought 3 game expansions (Seasons, Cats and Dogs and Eco Lifestyle). It’s warm-hearted watch urs challenges and feel how joyful u deep dive on them. Thanks for your effort and funny silliness. It’s so healthy. (Sorry for my English though)
Tiny living was the first ever pack and I think it will always be my favourite! The only thing I would change about it would be to add a shower, I think it was a missed opportunity and would have completed the bathroom set and just make sense lol
I wonder if they didn’t add it because Tiny Living came out a couple months after Discover University. My thought process with this is that when DU came out, it was the first pack with a wall shower that did not have built in walls. If they had added it in the stuff pack, that could have been a selling point (though small) for a cheaper pack for some people or they may have feared people complaining that the objects are too similar. Even now I think we only have the one from DU and Snowy Escape and it’s been 4 years since the first type of that shower was released
Hey Kayla (and comment section readers, hi!!) Not sure if I've commented before about how helpful your videos are for distraction during an anxiety attack, but my goodness am I thankful for them and you. Like a lot of people, the holiday season as a whole is a rough time and sometimes it's just too much, so thank you for being a part of my self care plan. ❤ Lots of love to everyone!
Thank you so much for considering that the average Sims player probably doesnt have all the packs! I love your builds, but they typically have packs I don't have, so this is a nice change of pace once in a while. Don't get me wrong, the other houses are amazing and impressive, but I just appreciate a mix :) Love your videos!!!
Great tiny house. Personally, I think a window behind the stove/sink area would make it look nice and bring in some extra light to such a small space. That, or a mirror. But cleaning that IRL would be such a pain. But imagine it, cooking with a nice breeze while inside. Ooh, what a life.. XD Just my opinion. And yes, that's probably what I'd do if I download this lot off the gallery. Don't @ me for it. LOL But I do love the house! Usually, we often just put one sink that functions for both bathroom and kitchen. But it's nice to have a sink in both of those rooms. Just looks nicer.
The basegame windows are too big to fit between the counters and the cupboards. I tend to use the windows from Snowy Escape when I want kitchens with windows but maximum cupboard space. The small ones from base game are too modern for what she was going for in this build, too 😢
I actually really liked the orange brick and darker purple walls! Im always scared to use the Murphy bed because the first time I used one in a build it killed my sim's wife the first time she went to sleep in it after they got married 😅 had to change up my plans real fast.
this stuff pack is so goated!! truly, is the type that's so genuinely good, it makes the company look bad lmao Tiny Living and Paranormal should be the standard, not the exceptions
As much as I love having a huge house later on in my gameplay, especially so everyone can have their own room and I have a space dedicated to skill building, I also just adore the early gameplay of having a tiny house and absolutely crushing my skill building in a matter of irl minutes 😂
oh i think this is actually one of my alltime fav builds you have ever done! i think i will get this and since i have pets i will swap the couch near the entry for a dog bowl and bed. thank you kayla!
Love your videos, thank you for all the tips and tricks. I wanted to warn ya, that the murphy beds in tiny living, well, they CAN kill you. I made a "tiny" home to start my sim, I was not even 2 sim nights into it and she went to open her murphy bed, it got stuck and then it opened and closed repeatedly on her, killing her... after I finished laughing my butt off at this, I was like wait, WHAT??? Her BED killed her??? And I upgraded it already to the "unbreakable".... LMBO. And yes, I most definitely kept the gameplay of it. I re-watch it and still laugh my butt off at it.
Tiny living is one of the best dlc in sims 4 and it’s worth the price in my eyes. It contains beautiful new furniture and also a big challenge to live in a small space
So funny watching you build this, as I got it off the gallery last week for the new rewards thing. I wanted a new save to do it in but wasn’t in the mood to build 😂 it’s awesome to live in, I have added a couple of holiday things for the event though! 😂
I really want her to try and cram as much as possible into a tiny home one day. Last time I made a tiny home with that mentality, my bathroom had like 6 tiles, and a tub-shower combo! Try to put some space for a cat or a tiny dog, that would be awesome!
I love your videos, so helpful. My daughter and I LOVE playing Sims. I haven't played in a while, lol, but I do need to make some time, which I don't have, having a toddler to worry about. lol Just wanted to stop by and say HI, and to say thank you for your videos.
I always go for hyper-specific aesthetics when i'm playing so i never get to use these normal-looking houses and it just kills me inside because goddamnit this is the cutest build.
I wanted to buy this today and the game decided to do the infinity loading and stuff, I closed it, didn’t want to open it again because of how enraged I was, Tiny living will have to wait.
I love your starter homes. I like to play rotationally with many families and I usually also never move places. all the expensive premade homes are kind of useless to me
I've watched up until starting decisions on the front porch. The interior and the roof made me think. What if? What if you tried something with the same blueprint, but make it crazy tall wall-height and crazy tall roof? Would that technically make it possible to use the attic as a fake second floor?
As someone who ALWAYS plays in a 32 or 64 tile home… I approve this build! However, I wouldnt waste the space to include a second sink in the bathroon, they dont need it 🤣🤣🤣
My first legacy my heir died by a Murphy bed and he was an only child I wasn’t aware of the value of having a spare yet so be ware proceed with caution The poor guy was just visiting family for the holidays while going through college
This pack is something we need in The Sims 2 and 3 too, ofc items back then needed more space but keeping up with needs and skills in those games is sooo much harder. 😅
Tiny living deserved a tiny one tile shower and a mini fridge as standard.
I love the university wall shower and am always surprised that tiny living didn't come with something similar
a mini fridge that slotted into a cabinet like a dishwasher would have been insane
At least there is a BG mini fridge with the reward one patched in now. Preach. Def my most used stuff pack.
at this point I can't imagine not having the pack, it's quite literally a game changer
Most used pack and the only one I spent full price on. 100% worth it

omg that's hilarious 😂
Lol, something tells me knowing of the couple kinda ain't in the spirit of the game but good on ya
You've done a lot of christmas houses, but how about one that's optimized for outdoor lights? As many hanging lights, lighted decorations, even glowing items, as long as it looks cool at night
that's such a good kdea
I like this idea!
1:34 and a half. 32 tiles, and a half tile, as long as you don't tip over to 33. Not that it matters too much, if at all. It's just nice to have extra room!
oh, good to know this trick!!!
I don't understand what you mean. A wall takes one whole tile anyway, so how can you make a house that's 32 and a half tiles?
Diagonal walls

POV you're living in a tiny home:
"Hey nice to meet you!"
30 seconds later: "Will you marry me?"

I would've definitely put a laptop on the counter instead wasting space for a desk nook though 😅
Not my dyslexia making me read the title as "Microwave"

Tiny Living and Paranormal should be the standard, not the exceptions
Nooooo the brick looked goooooooood!
Very nice. I do think the bathroom should be bigger since the 2nd couch really isn’t needed.
The easel can go outside or in the Sim’s inventory.
A year with Stanley would be such an amazing video. Can you make one Kayla? 😃
woohoo! another video!

Next challenge: a Tiny/Micro home WITHOUT using the “moveobjects” cheat
Nooo 💀💀 Omg that would be so difficult, lmao
It can be done. Made one entirely base game with a separate bedroom with a double bed. No fake walls either
Love the sweater!!🎄🎄

fav sims youtuber posted, yayyyy:)))
I love this because all my micro homes are literally just squares lol
That first shape simsie drew to show what 32 tiles looks like is the shape of every micro home I make lol
So many bookshelves lol The bed, tv, and the set of books. Super cute build

Five minutes ago wow, you always inspire me to play the sims on different ways Kayla.
okay you killed this kayla
I would love to see a fake micro home with ALL the skills!
Thanks, this was needed after all those multiple pack builds with a million packs in it
Never have I ever been so early to a video

so excited for this video! missed you yesterday ❤
My favorite build I do believe
Blue micro suburban for ratman! Lovely
ateee
You might've forgotten a rubbish bin haha. Great video tho!! I only have the tiny living pack, so this was really nice to watch
One of my favourite stuff packs.
this ate.
always miss ur uploads
*taking landscape notes*
My gardens are either bare or hectic af
it looked so much cooler with the brick and deep purple imo
Yes one I can downlooadddd!
Have fun at your grandparents house!
The brick was so cute though! Especially for Willow Creek 😢
I'm chuckling because i actually grbbed this for a legacy I'm playing that i started i think this past sundy 🤣
I think I need to get tiny living lol
tiny living was my first sims pack
Debug does have a darker version of the low bush in basegame, I use it all the time 😅
Yaay
The second sofa is kind of a waste of space
As someone who ALWAYS plays in a 32 or 64 tile home… I approve this build! However, I wouldnt waste the space to include a second sink in the bathroon, they dont need it 🤣🤣🤣
It would be so cool if you did a like "swap builds every 10 minutes" with another creator (maybe carryn and connie because I love them)
My first legacy my heir died by a Murphy bed and he was an only child I wasn’t aware of the value of having a spare yet so be ware proceed with caution

ooh can you make a tiny home with eco lifestyle? and like include the eco lifestyle skill building things? a little tiny home for a fabricator.
make another micro home! the catch? it's 2x16 tiles :D
This pack is something we need in The Sims 2 and 3 too, ofc items back then needed more space but keeping up with needs and skills in those games is sooo much harder. 😅
at least the sims 3 has those funky one-tile-bathrooms (originally meant for houseboats I believe?), we should get those in the sims 4 finally hahah
Kayla can you make a new save or lets play that has a twist, similar to the spin the wheel lets play
I think Sims care more about the art than the windows tbh
Ugh I was doing rags to riches my gnome had 17000! And he got killed by the Murphy bed the second he used it
So I’m building Waffle House instead 😂
No other stuff pack will ever top tiny living
Make a modern micro home pls
Can you do a updated ranking if expansion packs please 🙏
Omg
Cute
I got a st Jude ad before this video!

Simsie when you uploaded you put 2 bedrooms by accident
How do you scoot items into walls? Or super close to each other? I’m new to sims 4.
