In a way, this music reminds me of the analogy of the long hallway with lots of doors, and when each door is opened there is an opportunity to go in and experience something. To me, this music is behind a door at the near end of the hallway that very few people will ever know about.
I have told several friends of mine who never did psychedelic drugs that there is no way they'd be able to understand this genre of music. All of them were offended by it, but it's the truth. But, I told them I wouldn't recommend that they try psychedelic drugs in order to be able to understand this genre of music. I'm glad I experienced it but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I feel like I'm very fortunate to have gone through that and came away with my brain mostly intact. Over the years I have had several friends who weren't so fortunate.
