A natural talent, Quando Rondo was once a small child, secretly singing in the bathroom as a 9-year-old boy in Savannah, GA. His natural gravitation towards music lead to him to hip-hop; he began recording his fledgling verses on his cell phone. He quickly gained traction online, racking up millions of views on TH-cam.
Fittingly, he titled his 2018 mixtape 'Life B4 Fame' with the hopes that things would change for the better once his career really took off. He was right-within two days, his mixtape had amassed more than one million streams on MyMixtapez. Things will only go up from there, and if the snippets from his forthcoming Rich Homie Quando project are any sign, he’s only only getting better with time.

This spins right back to what Takeoff's former manager was saying about these labels, they promote violence in the black community because they want to make a dollar off of our talent and misfortunes. They push us to preach about the lives we've been around, lived and passed even if we are not those kinds of people anymore. That's why you have these young black rappers who only want to make it out the hood, some of which who became devote family men after getting money, bringing the violence to the top with them for seemingly no reason.
Some of us want the violence to stop, THEY don't. THEY want this destruction to continue because in the end they know this wildfire of chaos music will bring eyes, ears, wallets, and most importantly, more desperate young black. I BEG PLEASE STOP PROMOTING BIG LABELS AND VIOLENCE. smh🤦🏽♂️

@Bill this “theory” couldn’t be possible even if u wanted it to due to the fact that the details of record label deals and negotiations aren’t publicly acknowledged due to confidentiality. So there’s just no way you know the exact details of the contract and the control that the rapper haves over the music they drop or when they drop it. If you listened to the song he says “its been a whole year now and im still here” which means this song was recorded some time last year and was just now being dropped. And last time i checked i could’ve sworn Quando Rondo layed his flag down and said he wanted no parts of violence and gangs anymore. So for him to be coming out of a tragedy like losing 2 of his closest friends within less than 24 hours due to gun violence and still want to drop this song that was recorded last year would be irrational, irresponsible, and just not smart. Especially after he disowned his gang ties and his ties to violence. But at the end of the day i guess you “know what you know” and “work where you work”
