Season 5 is going to be the last one. It’s a nice (deliberate?) thematic touch that the tokens only go up to a value of 5 too. I can imagine CMON releasing a seasons 3 & 4 game and then a season 5 box to end the ‘trilogy’ - as long as they thought the sales would be there..

Ah right.. I lose track with the various half seasons and what not.

Really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on this one Joel. And yes, this game is tough. I played a couple early solo games and treated actions casually and the game absolutely punished me for it. Which I appreciated. Made the actions I took feel more meaningful.

Found this to be a little bit too hard for my taste. Just a smidgen. The token stacks can be so wildly different that you can waste a lot of action points or get destroyed from not having enough. Got the feeling it comes down to the scene deck order and token averages influencing the game a bit too much. It's fun though. Lot of good ideas in there

I’ve never watched the show but I have a card game called “In Between” that people say is obviously based on the show. It’s a fun game. BTW that old van is missing the teardrop window… lol

I really should get this game. The kid are really getting into Stranger Things. I wonder if the game may be too hard for them. We play Zombicide and Horrified without issues when we lose.

I think mechanical complexity is right about the same. The win/loss ratio will be worse though :)
