Not sure if you’re aware, but there’s a major bug with Fox-3s. It happens when you have the enemy target hard locked or tracked with TWS and maneuver out of the radar’s gimbal limit creating a false target for a few seconds. Because of the false target, the fox-3 points itself away from the actual target causing it to miss though this only happens at long ranges. This could’ve caused your misses at 1:27 and you can easily prevent this by unlocking the target when going defensive. 👍
They're perfectly capable missiles in WVR engagements (where most kills occur). If you fire it below 10-15 km it has plenty of speed/energy which means higher pk. They lack the BVR performance of other fox-3s that's just it.
@@spiff7363 I'd argue that it's always been in top 4 since most Fox-3 launches grant you kills at close ranges but new changes are welcome too since it made medium range launches more viable. Only thing I find lacking is rear-aspect launches against fast targets. Other than that once they're off the rail they accelerate and pull really hard and almost always find it's target.
its amazing missile for close and medium range only problem it loft too hard so and not great at bvr but u can make i work if gaijin nerf the loft it might be the best missile
