Bridge over the River Kwai, Death Railway and Kanchanaburi Allied War Cemetery

Part 1 of my 2016 travels in Thailand. A train journey from Thonburi in north Bangkok to Kanchanaburi station on the infamous Death Railway (Thailand-Burma Railway), visit to the Bridge on the River Kwai and the Allied War Cemetery.

I went to that war grave in 2000 and it was very moving. The ages of the fallen men was shocking as most were so young. The Thai people keep the graves immaculately, hats off to them.
