XIN Liu (pronounced as "shin") is the best selling female artist in Mainland China right now, both for digital and physical albums. Apparently, SM wanted her since 2019 (even if she wasn't famous back then). She doesn't have any connections with SM but she is so talented so LSM wanted this collab to happen so bad. SM approached XIN, recorded the song and shot the MV last year but waited till this year to release for a number of reasons. Then she sang and danced and I was like “daaaaang I have to check out more of her stuff!” And then I found out how phenomenal her dancing and rapping skills are. Now I’m in too deep but that’s okay. Hear me out: collab with Taemin. The popping and strong angles. The singing. She can do the rap parts. The androgyny. I would give anything to see that! Make it happen, Lee Soo Man!

However, since Xin has a temporary contract with iqiyi for two years after winning youth with you II, that company try to stop or postpone the collaboration since they don’t want Xin to be popular (no benefit can be made due to her contract with her original company if she’s popular). Therefore, it cannot be released until now when Xin got back to her original company
