I love your channel! I have the Sézane version of this dress and it is by far my most favourite dress!!

Hello! I just received a Gabin dress from Rouje but I can't seem to find a way to sit down in it without the wrap slit opening up and revealing *way* too much. Have you had this issue at all? Wondering if I need to size up, though it does fit everywhere else.

My dresses definitely do open up when I sit down so I have to be careful how I sit - but I've always had that issue with wrap dresses. I do think there's sizing inconsistency between different Gabin dress styles/prints. I have some Gabin dresses that feel like they cover more and some that have less fabric (both the same size). I think that if the dress fits everywhere else it's probably the right size?

Hello! Thanks you for this vidéo ! Please could you tell me if this dress has shrunk after washing it in cold water? ( i have this problem with a another rouje's dress). Thank you

Yes, it definitely shrunk after washing. I hand wash and line dry all of my Gabin dresses and they all still shrink a little. If you iron them while damp (as the care instructions suggest) they do loosen up a little. I haven't tried dry cleaning them but maybe that would help them to not shrink? That's why I always suggest taking a larger size in Rouje dresses because all of mine have tightened up/shrunk after washing.

Oh this hurts my head… Gabin isn’t pronounced gaBEEN. The “in” ending is pronounced the same as the French word for wine: “vin” ..”I” is more like an “uh” sound and the N is almost silent.

      Noted. Sorry for your head!

It’s totally fine however you want to pronounce it. In France they pronounce it more like Gaban with a silent n at the end but that’s just for info. Pronounce it however you like xx

@@sheilacleary2751 :-) Thanks! I feel like everyone pronounces it differently so I just made up my own way...haha. Thanks for the info!
