After using this camera over the last couple days, It's plain to see it's software and hardware is in bad shape. The developer has ambitions for this camera but it is just not there yet so I can't recommend it.
I've since uninstalled it. Big waste of money. Video quality is trash and that's when it actually works It usually won't stay on it'll turn off I have to pull the power plug it back in it may or may not stay on what junk this thing is. Some of the problem comes from the fact that their power management is horrible and it requires more power than USB. Dash cams should be able to be ran off USB! The hardwire kit that comes with mine does not fit my fuse box my fuses are smaller. 🤬
Same experience... Finally thought for setting up last week and it was really bad. Can't find a spot that could fit on my car to get both front and back (which support to turn position where they were built for, which doesn't) and I tried using it for a drive... And it kept turning on and off... Biggest regret... Could have gotten a lot better in the market for the same price I paid for.
I hope the video quality gets better. I still haven’t received my camera that I backed on kickstarter. All the videos I’ve seen look washed out and not 4k.
What a disaster this thing is. I took it out of my car about a week after this. It wouldn't stay powered on and when the video did record it was very poor. I hope everybody stays away
The reason why it randomly turns off is the usb cable...Its not able to continuously send power to the dash cam because its too long. Im very disappointed too and i wiah i didnt order thia device.
You apologize too much. Like "excuse the air condition noise in the background", "excuse the bad video quality (when using luba spy cam)", and so on. Lad, you do not have to apologize. Whoever truly cares about your content does not give a damn about the actual video quality or a little noise somewhere. If there is one thing I have come to HATE during TH-cam history, is these channels with ultra-mega professional production, with their studios and fancy cameras and a gazillion editors and so on. I have become utterly alergic to those channels - because it used to be that TH-cam was actually YOU tube, so a platform for people like you and I to post content - but now it has become this huge fancy platform with mega channels and large networks ...
It sucks that you haven't received it but honestly just count it as money lost, I went ahead and uninstalled it out of my car. It just kept rebooting over and over wouldn't stay recording.
@@Crazypostman I've emailed them that i want a refund and my order cancelled, if they refuse i will dispute the charge with amex -- i've already talked to them about it. Unbelievable to wait 2 years for this garbage.

Didn’t get a chance to back it up. After watching your video I don’t think I made a bad decision, I’m actually happy I didn’t because you’re proven that it sucks - that doesn’t look 4K bro really Dride, more like D-crap 😅😅
This camera is utter garbage. No real substantial updates. Vid quality still sub par. Software buggy as hell. Harnesses melting on people. Support utterly useless. We all got scammed

It's definitely a very poor product I actually uninstalled it It's not even worth keeping in the car. Money lost.
