i must say that omar sharif's plays and style left a huge impact on bollywood comedies in the early 2000s. From akshay kumar to govinda they definitely learnt their mocking style comedy from Mr. Sharif and Stephen Chow. Recently Kapil Sharma is definitely inspired by pakistani style stage plays.
