3:50 - the last part that looks like torrent of blows does do a lot of damage and you can die from it! u can be out of range of the spin, use /invulernibility, or rely on ur healer to keep u alive. 10:40 skulls phase - it's suggested to watch and wait for the screen to stop shaking instead of counting 6 seconds before u touch the other player's bubble b/c in Cata Hard, that's what u'll have to do. also, u should've mentioned the healer and tank need to physically touch to activate safety from the mechanic, getting close isnt as specific.
i swear this is the coolest dungeon ever!! U have ur time to dps, then time to dodge, then get back on dps. unlike others, like the shitty DA which is a pain in the ass for close to boss characters.
Can a DPS player pick up the skull Yukati? I have done that twice as a valkyrie: on the first time we succeeded on the mechanic (but honestly don't know how since both the tank and myself were close for the beginning of the screen shaking) and on the second one I picked one of the skulls, the healer picked the other one but unfortunately stayed away from the group during the entire mechanic so we all got wiped.
DPS players can pick it up, but they shouldn't. The tank and healer do that mechanic cause it's the most convenient. DPS players should have highest dps numbers ideally, so you get the lowest dps loss when the tank and healer do the mech. Also, that way there won't be any confusion about who should pick up skulls. The tank is supposed to pick up the item and then just go back to the boss, the healer does the rest, and touches the tank when the shake ends. If the healer stayed away, then they probably didn't know the mechanics. Some new players don't realize that you have to learn at least the most important mechanics before you try new dungeons. Most healers actually do a good job though, so just let them handle it.
O.o you tried to solo the group version? I think it might be close to impossible to solo the group version of Catalepticon right now, but yeah, just trying it helps getting used to the mechanics XD
Es gibt eine solo Version im ace dungeon menu. Wenn du die Gruppen Version laufen möchtest, dann benutze einfach die instance matching Funktion, oder finde eine Gruppe (Freunde oder LFG), und benutze das Vanguard Fenster um dich zum Eingang zu teleportieren.
Hi. I think the best populated server is the international EU server. I've never played on SAE servers, so I don't know, but somebody told me that those have the most toxic community.
The EU and SAE servers should be in the server list when you start the game. If you don't see those, but you see the NA servers instead, then you have to change the region to EU in the launcher.
