Thank you for the video! I am from Ukraine and actually I supported KRUTЬ 💛 She is the singer who took second place at the national selection (Jerry Heil took third). Her song moved me to tears. It was also a surprise for me when Tvorchi won. There is different music in Ukraine, and there were probably more supporters of Tvorchi. Perhaps, when the song is evaluated by someone from abroad, it is more obvious to them which choice will be more successful. Jerry Heil's song really looks like an perfect option for the Eurovision stage now. However, the majority chose this way, so let it be so. All three songs are great! Це у нас вже традиція напевно. Після кожної перемоги ми відправляємо щось незрозуміле і експерементальне. Шкода що від цього страждають дійсно переможні заявки. Джері і Круть були кращі за Творчих.
I liked this, but it wasn't my favourite and felt rather overhyped by some fans. It also seemed to have a lot more fans outwith Ukraine than in the country. Krutb was better still, and Fiinka and Oy Sound System both offered something very different. I would've liked to see them taking a bit more of a risk when they're going to be in the final anyway. This is an instant grab, but others in the selection weren't - Tvorchi for one.
Ukrainians didn't want more sad dark ethno songs sent to Eurovision. They want to show that there are other genres in the country and the winner had a good message too. Personally I thought Jerry's English lyrics were not very creative and I don't want Ukraine to send a song explicitly about war this year
@@annnushka I am just stating what I have read from other Ukrainians. Clearly Tvorchi did something right or they wouldn't have won the televote by such a large margin
@@Hydraas But they’re sending again a song about war. There are signs of like ‘we don’t want nuclear war’ in all of the parts of the performance. I don’t want to see a single thing releated to war this year so I hope they’ll remove it. And this year’s song is very cheap and normally can’t even reach top 20. With Jerry Heil, they could reach top 5 again so for me it’s a wrong decision
@@kaan1724 I said explicitly about war. Heart of Steel is implicitly about war. Personally I wasn't a fan of Jerry's song. And the decision has been made now, there's no point thinking about how well Jerry may/may not have done. Ukraine have a history of good staging and generally good results and I expect the same of this year

Jerry Heil should have won hands down , not a tvorchi fan at all, blahhhhhhh is what i think of heart of steel.

The song which u guys selected was shit btw....
As a Ukrainian I was 10000000 percent sure this would win. But... we have what we have. Tvorchi are not bad but definitely not the best in my opinion.
