Mara was my favorite character in the whole show. Everyone was taught to view her as a villain, but she sacrificed everything to save the world, and it still didn’t work. She never even got to see Adora defeat Horde Prime. I love her so much she is so strong and her story is so tragic.

I love this show because both mara and adora- the heroes that are destined to save etheria and follow their "destiny"- questioned weather they had a choice in the matter of not. It's beautiful because we can connect with the both of them better and see the inner struggles of the hero. Truly love this show.

I don't think people get what Razz actually is. Most just dosmiss her as a very old woman going through dementia because she keeps projecting old memories onto the present, like how she constantly calls Adora "Mara," but people overlook one thing. At one point, Mara mentions Adora in a recording. Which seems to indicate Razz called Mara by "Adora" which is impossible. Maybe Razz isn't senile. Maybe she experiences time all at once. Maybe her consciousness doesn't flow from past to present and into the future. Maybe her consciousness jumps to different points in her life. So maybe in her frame of reference, one moment she's talking to Mara the next she's aware hundreds of years later talking to Adora. Like time travel buy only with her consciousness hopping randomly to her body in different times. And, maybe she is getting old and a little senile and has trouble figuring out when she is in her life now.

I'm a little late to the party in 2023 but..... 47 year old dude here who thought "Eh. I'll watch it because I liked the old show when I was a kid" and became more invested in a damned cartoon than I have in basically anything ever. THE PIE SCENE WITH RAZZ. I cried. I cried so much I scared my cat and my wife was concerned about me for like three days. I love this damned cartoon so much :(
I hesitated to watch it first because of the cartoon style but wow I'm so glad I gave it a shot because I absolutely loved it so much and I cried a lot at those scenes too 😭 and now I love absolutely every kind of animation

Well she doesn't experience time linearly. So much so that she can tell Mara in the past about adora. So we don't know if she really lived out those 1000 years the same way we would. In a straight line.
