This was a hard pass. Her outfit does look good well done the rest of the piece to me does not look good. Too skinny and that portrait is horrible. Kucharek Brothers really surprised there work is always top notch. This was a fail IMO
The portrait is not bad, it may not be perfect but I would not call it bad, as for her body being too skinny that's also subjective. Having her in hand I don't feel that way. This statue is definitely not without its issues but IMO the overall look and aesthetic more than make up for them. Thanks for taking the time to give me your input.
You're so correct. SS usually nails the portraits but they forgot the paint on this one. I also can't believe the Kucharek Bros did this statue. That may be the worst statue SS has put out in awhile. But again, I haven't seen it in person yet.
