Mathame’s highly-anticipated ‘Nothing Around Us’ arrives on Afterlife Recordings this September 7th.
The richly talented duo Mathame featured on the second Realm Of Consciousness compilation and have since been regulars in the sets of Tale Of Us with some sought-after, unreleased tracks. Their distinctive treatment of vocals marks their tracks out instantly, nowhere more so than on ‘Nothing Around Us’, with the cyber voice of the young Italian artist Lyke. The top quality production and original sound continue with the more understated ‘22’ and end with another prime example of Mathame’s vocal work, ‘Fade Into
You’.
This EP is a bold statement that crystallises the well-deserved excitement around Mathame.

It's my ritual to listen to this track at the beginning of every day
I wish all humans and sentient beings feel this state once in their lives. Went there with a soulmate at first on 2019 Ozora Festival. Went there a second time by discovering my sacred space and our interconnectedness and a third time by listening to this music. Took me back there instantly. Thank you for this. This is the deepest and fullest state of being I’ve ever experienced consciously yet. Even after hundreds of listening something ethereal, magical and so powerful remains. bro i went 2013 ozora i hitchhiked from poland to hungary. i ate lsd there, and broke free from chains - i thought i cant dance. i stopped care and move body, no one cared about how i moved. very enlightening moment
i danced all night and morning i ate mdma to make some love in open on a side when i wont interrupt anyone. this was great place to be shpongle live, hallucinogen on main stage, the orb, amazing really. i played didgeriddoo to music because i spent all money on drugs. i loved it. couldnt back no money i hitchhiked back with ma fam

Still my favourite track from the Afterlife Records. Mathame came to Argentina on December 2021 and i was able to go and listen to them. I and thankfull of being sourronded by my friends, all enjoying, living the moment. Considerable a core memory of my teenage life. I and greatful of everything that made it possible.
