I believe so. He (the giant purple guy) is the final boss of the launch story arc. The player character and company have been dealing with his minions up until this point, and this is the climax. It’s really cool that the devs created this fight as a public, open world meta event (similar to Guild Wars 2) where a ton of players can get involved - which increases the scale and immersiveness of the fight, along with the story payoff.
@@saturnaurora8891 There are plenty of story play-through videos on Bilibili, but I’d wait till launch to see the final product (or wait till you can play it yourself 😉). Also fun fact - the player character is voiced as well. Each class and sex has their own voice acting with unique personality and dialogue variations. There are also many occasions where you can choose your responses. It’s really well done!
