I feel the shoulder and sleeve shouldn't be splitted cause there was no sewing allowance added
As a result of this it may lead to the shortening of the dress a bit

No it won't have additional allowance since it is cut together with the sleeves , and the measurement I took for the armhole is not a normal measurement it has allowance already
