🌲🍀🐾I think this is one of two, of the most effective forest fire prevention commercials I've seen ever. Really drives the point home. It should be shown these days🐾🍀🌲!

my local TV station (long gone now) was so cheap they played this ad right into the early 80s. was their an abbreviated version with just the fence breaking and the fire and the family in the window? the papa bear sounds like Bosley from Charlie's Angels

Question for commenters: What would you do if you saw a family of bears in your front yard ripping off the fence boards from your fence and then starting a camp fire and then just leaving it there?
Call Smokey the Bear and help him put out the fire
I'd go to the home of those bears, rip off their fence boards, start a campfire and spill gasoline around their home so those mfs will know how it feels and won't do it anymore. Simple.
That is literally what the second amendment is about. The right to take arms against bears.

Papa Bear sounds a lot like Richard Nixon!
That's actually Stanley Ralph Ross as the voice of Papa Bear. He was the voice of Gorilla Grodd from Challenge of the Superfriends. He was also the man who wrote the intro for ABC's Wide World of Sports (The thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat.).
Who knows what Nixon sounded like ? Or the rest of them save for actor Reagan.

,I would be dead if. I were to have walked up to that ferocious family of 3 grizzly bears and tried to pet them.But I should be respectful to wild animals and look at them. Like I said it's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to bears and humans getting to dangerously close to 1 another.

Why are they just looking at them they should do something.
Supposedly because they are supposed as helpless as putting out a fire as real bears are in the woods. These would be black bears by the way not grizzlies.
Unless you had a shotgun or hunting rifle. Then maybe you wouldn’t be so helpless.
If you saw a family of realistic bears walk on 2 legs, talk and make a campfire on your front lawn, you'd most likely be too shocked to do anything too.
