    By the not-guilty verdict, the jury is saying that it was those three Police officer's fault. They are saying that those three Police officers used very bad judgment. Unfortunately, they have to live with what happened.

    Why is the widower “disappointed” for Zameer not being UNLAWFULLY charged with murder??
    And why isn’t the police testimony being further investigated for colluding evidence?
    A non-guilty verdict doesn’t change the corruption in the police system. We require the 3 police personals to be investigated for malpractice.

    If I was confronted in an underground garage, with my family in the car, by a bunch of people yelling and banging on my roof, I would have done exactly what this man did. The police obviously decided to take revenge for the death of their colleague, and colluded on their version of events. A stupid mistake on the part of the police which will impact this mans life forever.

And then he got bail out of nowhere .. and that was the beginning of the end for the case ... Should never have gone to trial.. mr.     So happy for Zameer and his family. His defence did a fantastic job and they saw what all the Canadians watching believed and it was a great decision by the jury. He is an innocent man and the verdict was right.

    Looking for a suspect that matched his description. Ran up to a vehicle like a bunch of vigilanties with a badge. Saw that he was in the car with his pregnant wife and elderly person. Did not think "what would a stabbing suspect would be doing in a car with his family". Thank God for video cameras and expert witness and an honourable judge. Hats off to the Jury. Imagine how many times this has happened before, but the unlucky person did not have those things going for them.

    I was detained by an off-duty (plain clothes) officer a few mos back and I was scared for my life. I was so happy to see uniform police when they arrived. I thought I was getting car jacked. Something needs to change. This poor family and the family of the victim 🙏

    The videos from the media, this man was clearly telling the truth. Cops should have known better when they are in plain clothes. Terrible that a cop lost his life, just shows, more training is needed when cops are not in uniform.

    Hopefully police learn to wear a proper uniform or call for proper uniformed officer in these circumstances. No way he would know that was a police officer and without proper uniforms anyone would have made that mistake. That could have been anyone and they tried to railroad this man to prison.     I beleave this was the right verdict, this case should be a lesson to any police force in Canada. There were a lot of mistakes made by those undercover officers. And as a result one of their officers paid the price of dying. My condolences to that officers family, this is a sad day once again for them, but justice was done right for this man who lost 3 years of his life going through all that he was accused of.

    I think they should have been uniformed police and this whole mess wouldn't have happened how would you know they were police. I saw the pictures of the police in plain cloths I would have been scared out of my mind as well they absolutely looked like thugs that were up to no good. Justice was done here good for you.

    It's sad that someone does, but reading up on this case, as I've never heard of it prior to this....
    I have a real hard time with policing being a place of testosterone "action seeking" jocks.
    They don't care about the laws and the constitution so long as they get someone. And this plain clothes, unmarked van debacle reeks of police acting like a Hollywood action movie.
    It seems like police officer lack a real understanding of the law.
