Cool video and you were real close to where I grew up in DeLand! Nice find with that starfish on the beach. I love watching you two and my husband Bill and I are newly retired from healthcare and sharing our adventures on our channel. No RV videos posted yet but they are in the future plan. We are wintering in the Melbourne Beach area with old friends and our 3 pets. Surf fishing and other outdoor adventures are coming up soon. YES Watch out for alligators in the freshwater cause they can spring out a long distance from the water. Our little poodle loves walking in the creeks at home when we hike and she’s mad she can’t do that here. The beach is a big treat for her tho... have fun and see you on the next video
Loved seeing you show other travelers and ask them questions. My favorite is the dogs playing on the beach. I’m dreaming of the time we can be there ourselves with our next dog.

You will love it. They have kayak rentals at the Outpoost, if you like being on the water I would highly recommend that, there is also a biking and walking trail on the other side of the road at the entrance that is really nice. Have fun.
It was fun meeting you at Tomoka . We were glad to see you went to see the Fairchild Oak I also love to see old large trees. You can feel the history by just being there. very nice video of the park and facility . Hope to meet again down the road somewhere. I don remember when Bike week is but that is probably not the best time to be there. That would be my only complaint about Tomoka is if I was there then. I heard it was noisy. I assume it would be crowded for the Daytoma 500 also. Other than that is a great place Tom and Charlotte

As you know beach treasure are my favorite, I’m getting picker since we don’t have a lot of room, but I found some unique pieces and the starfish is my favorite so far.

We missed you at Tomoka State Park by about a week! It's one of our favorite's so far. My husband liked to bike to the bridge on the main road and fish off it. Very peaceful. Tomoka feels like being in the middle of a jungle. So much bird life - they were dropping hard berries on our van so much we had to take cover! Lol.
The only problems we had there was that the water lines were getting cut (twice) by road workers. We went without water for many hours one day and then 48 hrs of boil water advisory. This happened twice. Some people were caught off guard and not prepared with enough water. They should have brought some in.
We have run into the boil water advisory several times on this trip. i always like to fill up our water before we leave a spot whether we need it or not.

I luv my Rad Runner. I have ordered the special hitched bike rack for a fat tired bike that weighs as much as the Rad Runner. Regular bike racks do not work, as the e bikes weigh too much...lol...I also have a street strider ( not electric...lol..) that I have bought a special extender so I can carry that with me. A lot of toys adds a lot of length to the van...lol...but I got a swing away arm for the bike rack so I can at least swing it away from the barn doors on back of van...but it adds a lot of length to the van.....but the enjoyment from the toys is so much...will put up with the extra length. I think I may need to add a red flag to the back of the bike rack...lol...Do hope to meet you guys on the road somewhere.
It’s good to hear you love your Rad Runner. Adding the extra length is our biggest concern and or course what kind of bike carrier to get and then we would probably need a cover. We also want to bring our kayaks and paddle boards... you are so correct that having our toys add to our experience and you have to choose which one is more important the length or the toys. You are just up the road from us. We live in DeLand. We love camping at Tomoka in our Roadtrek. Glad to see you got to enjoy the Ormond Loop and Flagler Beach with the red sand. We have not been to Gamble Rogers yet. We have heard a lot of good things about it, every year we try to make reservations there but it’s really hard to get into. You live in a beautiful area. We truly enjoyed our stay there.

You need to get those RAD bikes. We have 2 RAD minis. A regular and a step thru. We love them. Best money we ever spent. Let me know if you have any questions. I actually visited RADs place in Seattle to test drive their bikes.
We are still thinking about getting electric bikes. We also have to figure out how to transport them. I think I would also like to test drive one. I’m sure we would love them.
If you are in north Florida you are welcome to stop by and try ours. Best way for you to transport is a Hollywood rack on the back of your travato. Check out the TH-cam channel “she and me” they have the same bikes as us and carry them on the back of their Pleasureway Class B like yours.

VAN TREKKING lifestyle we are leaving wednsday the 26 . If y’all need a driveway to park. Y’all are surely welcome to use ours. We are in Houma city limits so we are close to lots of resturants and only an hour to New Orleans!
We have Rad mini folding eBikes and love them. One thing to consider, they are heavier & bulkier than regular bikes, so mounting them on your van may be an issue.
Another good one, adding it to the list thank you. By the way if you are coming through North Georgia on your way home you have an open invitation to moochdock in our driveway and try out our Rad Bikes. We have a Rover and a Mini. Tons of fun riding them.

You need to get those RAD bikes. We have 2 RAD minis. A regular and a step thru. We love them. Best money we ever spent. Let me know if you have any questions. I actually visited RADs place in Seattle to test drive their bikes.
We are still thinking about getting electric bikes. We also have to figure out how to transport them. I think I would also like to test drive one. I’m sure we would love them.
If you are in north Florida you are welcome to stop by and try ours. Best way for you to transport is a Hollywood rack on the back of your travato. Check out the TH-cam channel “she and me” they have the same bikes as us and carry them on the back of their Pleasureway Class B like yours.

We have Rad mini folding eBikes and love them. One thing to consider, they are heavier & bulkier than regular bikes, so mounting them on your van may be an issue.
That is one of our main concerns, how to transport them and then adding the length to the van. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

We hear it's packed and booked up on race weekends. I can see why. Only about 25 minutes always from the speedway.
Take 3 days off and spend some time at home. Watch some tv and enjoy each other's company. Keep her always on the shirts and stickers, to keep her memory alive. Only one Honey Bear, she'll be missed. Take care.

Does Maggie bark when you leave her in the van while you are out biking. I’m always afraid our pup will bark and disturb the neighbors.
Luckily she doesn’t bark, we make sure she can see out if she wants to. We’ve heard a lot of dogs that do.

Who (dealer) did you buy your Travato from? Any issues with it minor or major since you got it?
We purchased our Travato from Campers Inn in Raleigh. They were great to deal with during the purchase and we haven’t been back for service or to buy another one yet. So no... no major issues so far in the almost 2 years!
