  • Hamilton is a Canadian port city on the western tip of Lake Ontario. The Niagara Escarpment, a huge, forested ridge known locally as "the mountain" and dotted with conservation areas and waterfalls, divides the city.

Past the six minute mark, wherein the heavy trees & shrubs overlook the river, is my favorite aspect of this lovely video. I must say that over the past year, your Canadian videos are quite unique Lisa my dearest Anglo friend. Though I would say that as an American overall that Ontario is actually when I briefly saw Canada twice my personal least favorite aspect.
I don't know. Some parts looked lovely but alas the people towards me seem'd rude, ice cold, callous & indifferent. There was also a LOT of depressive grey in the areas that I saw. But then again North America's whole Northeast (Philly, Jersey, New York City & Boston) is alas not for a Southern Gentleman as me either, personality wise. I am amazed, however, if the beauty that you often show in your videos because honestly North America's true North/Northeast personality wise, really isn't for me at all.☮

I love seeing these videos from other countries, especially of Canada and England. That fountain in the beginning is so pretty and that hiking trail by the lake area is gorgeous. One of my favorite things to do is go hiking through the woods. Funny how those hills don't look like much on camera but boy are they ever. I've never climbed so many hills as I have since moving to Tennessee. They're endless out here but can put a person in shape pretty quickly Lol. Ho sad the story you told of the 19-year-old girl and the fellow who went missing. It makes me sick that we have to be so aware of whose around us when we're walking down the street. It shouldn't have to be that way, but it is. Hess looks like a nice little village there. I love cobblestone walkways like that. I love the fountain in Immigration square, how pretty! Love all of the sculptured statues around there too! I really enjoyed this video, Lisa. Thank you!

Thank you, Flo. Beautiful hiking areas in Canada wherever you go. I like Hamilton. It's a shame I don't drive abroad as there is so much more to see in the Hamilton area. It just gets pretty expensive using uber and too scared to use the public transport 😂 I go as far as my little legs can carry me. Thanks for watching 😘

Fascinating tour, what does the crown represent on the road signs? Fantastic art throughout 😊

Thank you. From the Internet, I found the following: In a monarchy, the Crown is an abstract concept or symbol that represents the state and its government. In a constitutional monarchy such as Canada, the Crown is the source of non-partisan sovereign authority. It is part of the legislative, executive and judicial powers that govern the country.
