I threw a chain in the fast lane of the 101 and was trapped on the inside break down lane. A CHP motorcycle cop came along and ran a speed break stopping all the traffic on the 101 so I could push my bike across 5 lanes. Shout out to that cop, he even had ice water in his saddle bags for me.
Bro the craziest thing here in Vegas was when the lockdown was going on at the beginning of all of this all of the casinos downtown and on the strip left their lights off at night completely closed and not seeing the strip lit up at night is insane! Cool to see yours and Brian’s video showing the different sides of Vegas here. 👍
The one thing you could do different is get them to take a picture of your license, it completely kills the you won't pay argument cause they've got a solid way to identify you if you don't pay, instead of just a phone number you can change for $2.
Ik your feeling on keeping an old bike that means alot to you running. I got an 82 Honda silverwing that I absolutely love it was my first motorcycle and I would do anything to keep it running
it sucks to be there when shit like that happens but later you realize it actually made you a stronger person,specially when you do the right things at the right time.
At the end of the day if you pay for your mistake that’s all that matters. If you had insurance all you have to do next time is have them snap a picture of your insurance and driver license if you own responsibility of the accident. In my state cops won’t even show unless it’s a injury. Be safe big dog

if you ride with a backpack, always bring a short 5ish ft piece of rope. great for tying to the tow bike and wrapping around your hand for good grip. one time we knew my buddys bike was going to break down so i brought it and towed him 4 miles to my house no problem.

If you still haven’t got the charging system worked out, I’d check and replace the regulator rectifier on it. I have a Wr250x that was showing the same exact systems as you described, and that’s how I fixed mine.

The police report is the only assurance that they have that things will be taken care of, ...if you don’t pay, then their insurance will have to cover it (if they have full coverage). No police report, no coverage. If you’re plan was just to pay them off why would you have to fly back for court? ,... oh, because of any citations the officer might right? No, those people are the victims and you need to think about it from their perspective. They don’t know you. How do they know that you’re giving them correct information? Did you show them ID? Even if you did, are they trained to spot a fake ID? You’re from out of state .... you can leave and they’re screwed.

You know you read the owner's manual and it says weekly you check your controls handlebars footpegs fairing bolts excetera somebody just ain't doing the maintaining of his bike when I started riding I couldn't ride my bike until I read the whole manual six times and did all the right checks before I could get on it at 4 years old

People need to know they don’t have to call the police unless somebody is injured. It always makes everything worse for no reason.
