Tina is fickle. Once she married Caine, she no longer felt that she "needed" them. I get the feeling that she was only fighting here to retaliate against Cord.
Tina *would* fight this hard. But the more Michael Malone wrote the character, the further she'd deviate. Even here already, Tina having chosen Cain over Cord is absurd. Then having sex with her full-brother - or believing that she was - not possible. (That was so bad, they retconned it to imply she knew David Vickers was a fraud.) A decade later, Malone was who penned that Tina, off-screen, abandoned her kids. What I'm saying is, Malone did her wrong.
@@paulmartin7705 so true. He always called her horrible names & I dont know what was so evil about Tina. She did some stupid things but in her own way for the right reasons or b/c she loved cord so much. Asa was 10x more vindictive & did awful things. How bout forcing maria & her mom far away when he found out maria was pregnant w/ cord. He threatened to deport them to Mexico. He kept Clint from his only son for 20+ years. The scene also when clints confronted him showed it wasnt just keeping his teenage son from an early fath5)erhood clint accused him of " having it in for the Mexicans all his life " asa didn't deny it. He also had issues w/ them being servants he yelled " the cooks daughter can u believe it chuck ?" To his right hand man. I think chuck quit for good b/c of that. He also went w/ kevin to take duke away. When he found out Becky lee was pregnant w/ bos baby he married her b/c he thought of drew as like property. I also could not believe in the 90s how much he hated vikis guts for cheating on Clint. I mean yes it was a Crappy thing but clint cheated first w/ echo . To call viki & tina tramps ?? Horrible wives & mothers ?? Yea well how bout him or bo who completely abandoned drew. I never understood how bo this great guy could dump his only son for many years. Matthew came along when he was much older & he loved his mom. Just b/c becky was a one nighter doesnt make drew any less his kid. Nora kept telling bo he was a wonderful dad ! Why b/c he was paying for his 20 something kids college ? How bout 0 to 20 where was bo? Clint was a great dad he adopted another mans kids & raised & loved them & he loved cord & jesse.
