I haven't struggled this much with a limited format since the last Dave Humphries set.

So sorry to hear you’re having a tough time so far. I’m curious are you playing Ranked or Traditional? What archetypes have you tried?
If I’m struggling, I usually find it helpful to get back to basics, draft high creature counts, and good curve, some removal and tricks and just play good ol’ fashioned magic. Hopefully we can get you winning soon!!

@@HowToDraftMTG Best runs I've had have been 2-1 trad and 3-3 premiere. Have been leaning Abzan after seeing the early data, taking removal a little more highly. And running into so many bombs...

Finally got a trophy in sealed with a loopy Reanimator deck that had double raise dead and Rutstein, plus a couple mill vamps. Testing hard for RCQ on Saturday!

Thanks, this seems good for a beginner in draft.

Thanks for the guide! Found it really helpful and appreciated the end notes on lands, quick question? If running some dual lands or special land cards would that impact how many lands you would use? Once again thank you for making this video!

      Thanks for watching and commenting!
Dual lands in particular are great for your deck and will improve consistency. A typical deck wants 9-10 sources of its main colour and 7-8 of its secondary colour. So a blue white deck might run 9 islands and 8 plains, for example.
If you had two blue-white deserts, 8 islands, and 7 plains, now you have 10 blue sources and 9 white sources - equivalent (in this sense) to running 19 lands but only actually running 17.
You typically won’t play fewer than 16 in most scenarios simply because you need to draw enough lands over the course of the game to hit your 4 and 5 drops on time.
There are much smarter folks when it comes to statistics and probability than me (Frank Karsten is excellent) but this is my general understand! Hope it helps.

Out of the draft archetypes what would you say is the strongest on average?

While I haven’t had the chance to get my hands on the cards yet, my guess would be anything Green-based will be good. Green a has a good removal spell at common and lots of powerful uncommons. White also looks deep! So if I had to pick one archetype, I’d say Green-White!
