In the 1980s, Clive Barker changed the face of horror fiction, throwing out the rules to expose new vistas of terror and beauty, expanding the horizons for every genre writer who followed him. With Hellraiser, his first feature film, he did the same for cinema.
Hedonist Frank Cotton (Sean Chapman) thinks he has reached the limits of earthly pleasure. But a mysterious puzzle box will take him further than he can possibly imagine, opening the doors to a dominion where pain and pleasure are indivisible and summoning the Cenobites, whose experiments in the higher reaches of experience will tear his soul apart. When he manages to escape, Frank returns to the world skinless and in need of help. Now his former lover Julia (Clare Higgins) must kill to make him whole again. But the Cenobites want Frank back, and there’ll be hell to pay when they find him.
Hellbound: Hellraiser Ii expands on Barker’s original vision as screenwriter Peter Atkins takes Julia Cotton, her step daughter Kirsty (Ashley Laurence) and the sinister Dr. Channard (Kenneth Cranham) into the dominion of the Cenobites themselves. Hellraiser Iii: Hell on Earth sees Pinhead set loose on the sinful streets of New York City to create chaos with a fresh cadre of Cenobitic kin. Then, Hellraiser: Bloodline sinks its hooks into past, present and future with the story of Phillip LeMarchand, the 18th-century toymaker who made the lament configuration puzzle box, his descendent John Merchant - a 20th-century architect whose most recent building bears a striking resemblance to the lament configuration - and Dr. Paul Merchant, a 22nd-century engineer and designer of The Minos, a space station which is a great deal more than it seems.

Well done Arrow for using proper thick packaging material and double boxing the boxset. Great improvement over the flimsy single box that was used for sending my Arrow exclusive Bruce Lee boxset.

The us version is about to become available. Do you feel the packaging will hold up if treated well? I want it but don’t want it to get destroyed.
I wish someone would do Wicked City (1992) live action version, because all versions online and on releases, including VHS are missing 5 to 6 minutes of footage, mainly a whole scene, involving Sheila (Carman Lee) and Sergeant Kayama (Woo-Ping Yuen), where Kayama levitates the bullets on the floor and sends them flying towards Sheila. It was a dramatic scene and it's been stripped. It was only present in a longer rental version
It would really be awesome if someone does the full version, or at least as a bonus deleted scene, because I cant find it anywhere.

No padding, yeah. Must be from Arrow. So glad I ordered elsewhere.
It's literally form fitted into cardboard, why would you need any padding unless someone stomped on the box in which case padding wouldn't matter?

Received mine last week packaged like a little baby swaddled in clingfilm (Plesse don’t try this at home, parents!) and boy, is it another beautiful set? (Yes, it is. That was a rhetorical question!) I’ve already got the previous Scarlet set from years back and damn, was that a huge set compared to this sexy slim little number? (Rhetorical question again!) as well as the Anchor Bay 4 DVD Lament Configuration Boxset from even more years back that only disappointed in the fact it was so easy to open and didn’t include any Cenobites. So yes, I was going to skip this set reasoning that the fourth film wasn’t enough to warrant a third purchase. But temptation is a whore and me a desperate punter so finally caved in and used some points to knock down the asking price when I compared the special features which are such sights to show you. Plus the packaging? Damn, I love it to bits with its fun “Let’s Skin Pinhead” approach which is sure to surprise and delight countless unknowing children this Christmas when they find it under the tree …
… another top release so keep up the good work but maybe don’t keep pimping new sexy boxsets to seduce my cinematic desire and drain my wallet. Jesus wept, guys!
