I hope Ms Lavender herself doesn't feel too pressured to upload videos. With another love interest getting introduced into the game soon, ultimately means another LI to grind and spend money on. Hope she's taking care of herself well too.
Noone is ever obligated to spend. It's up to the business to convince you to spend. But your money belongs to you. If you deem it not worth it and/or can't afford it, skip the purchase. You picked up this game to have fun and enjoy yourself, not to make your life more difficult. I'm thankful to everyone who financially supports the game, but it's not worth it if it results in people hurting themselves. Please take care and put your well-being first. 🙏💖
I wanted to make a note about the annual pass because I’ve been thinking about it. I’m kind of at the point where it’s getting hard to level and farm so I understand that the annual pass may be one of the few ways to get it. However (and I’d need to see the actual cost to really math), the annual pass bets on the fact that I remember to log in every single day for the next year. To be perfectly honest idk where I’m going to be next year let alone if I’ll still love this game. I’m happy to buy monthly autumn passes but anything over a 3 month pass is a very big time commitment. If you don’t log in the majority of the days for the next year I highly doubt the pass will be worth its price. Also for comparison, the monthly aurum pass is $60 with tax for the whole year. Just wanted to include for comparison. Just something to think about and thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
Funny how while I was watching this video, lads decides to send me a notification about the presale ending soon and that I shouldn’t miss out on it lmao
@@sn0wfa11s they don't, atleast not for me and this user ,This is the first time I've gotten a notification from.LADS telling me to buy it and hurry tf up cause the sale is about to end.
Thank you for saying this, it makes me feel relieved. It's true that we are not obligated to spend, prioritize our basic needs first. It's okay not to pay if we can't afford it. I play game to have fun not put myself on more stress. I am grateful for people who posted the memories so I can enjoy it. Please take care and put your well-being first. 🙏💖
My advice is to do daily tasks and weekly task. Daily task gives 50 diamonds and weekly gives 200. They are also some events like Zayne's which gave us 2000 diamonds for 15 days. You don't need to starve or neglect your needs to live. Gacha games are like gambling in a casino. Have a mindset that one day you will decide to stop playing this game so not advisable to spend everything you have just to level up your Love Interest Cards.
I will be honest, I’ve stopped playing purely because I got tired of grinding away to remain f2p. It became less about experiencing the content and more about “doing my dailies” and clicking all the buttons it wanted me to. I even put on auto combat, which I’d never done before, just so I could do other things while finishing my “chores” in the game. And when I realized I can just experience the content on TH-cam… I stopped playing altogether. Why grind for two weeks on the off chance I’ll get the limited time 5 star I want, when someone’s already got it and uploaded it to TH-cam the day the banner dropped?
Well I'm happy you still found a way to enjoy the game without playing it hahaha! The youtube community for LADS really is a huge help for those who can't or won't pull for cards tbh
I'm really happy there are ppl like, op and you, who point out and reassure ppl to not feel guilty or embarrassed for not being able to spend. It was kind of disheartening to see, even if it was meant to be jokes, how many ppl on twt said "c'mon na/eu do your part" with the presale so it's very nice to see posts like these to kind of counteract them. Otome games are even more rough with fomo than other gachas (imo at least) bc more emotional connections and all the stories behind the cards, let's not make it worst as a community, it's enough that the company itself does everything in its power to persuade us. This year was rough to many financially, god knows how worst it can get, so I very much agree, let's be a little more mindful with our words and be more compassionate we can't see what someone else is going through.
Thank you for covering on this topic ! Sometimes people will ride through the adrenaline and do some rash decisions 😥so its always good for someone to pause it and gently remind that hey you don't have to spend for the game because in the end , its also mostly luck and also guarantees , I myself had spent almost a month worth of salary for LnD throughout the year in which I had the extra income then , however now's not the case , so I have been trying to resist the urge to spend on the game and opting to use my second acct to pull with the gems and tickets I had saved 🙏 second accts are a good option too as it gives time to recover but also have a higher chance to pull !
Wow thank you for making this video, it really helped. I have felt that feeling (FOMO) and it’s horrible. I love the game and have been playing since the beginning. It’s my fist Otome game and I have truly enjoyed playing. But at times I do feel like I need a break, it helps a lot when I get the feeling of spending, so I just get off and try to balance my life. ☺️
I’m amazed at how much a player is enticed to spend on these types of games. (This is my first otome AND gacha.) I’ve had to exercise A LOT of self control - the last time I actually spent money for resources was Misty Invasion. With a couple vacations coming, Christmas holidays, it was challenging to pick and choose what to invest in since this was my first gacha game. I always wonder if some of these passes are worth it. So thanks for breaking it down - I’m sure the reassurance is needed for us players who are on the fence.
Hey there! I always appreciate comments from people who are new to the community, otome & gacha space. It helps me get a better idea of how to help everyone! So thank you so much for sharing your experience here! Please do let me know if there's something you'd like as a video in the future. Thanks again!
Hi! I saw your new kitty card affinity video already, so helpful tips like that are good. I’m actually a console action/adventure and fighting game player, and after a few months of playing LaDS I’ve been feeling that the game can get tedious with the daily/weekly tasks…so if there is anything you can suggest that new players to the game/genre are missing, that would be helpful. Also maybe a guide on the mini games during special events - what kind of resources you can get, how to best maximize them or should we even bother…sometimes having too much stuff to do can get overwhelming when we are trying to save resources to use on banners, wishes, buy outfits etc. If you’ve already done videos on these, great, I’ll go back and look. I’m sure I’ll think of more topics… 🤗
I recently had the urge to buy a Pokemon card for about $40; for me that's insane, but I know some people spend much more (in my mind it's just a piece of card-paper; what;?!) But also it was a Japan Osaka limited card (I've lived in Osaka for five years and counting now so it's special to me) Just when id confirmed to buy it, someone else bought it. I actually felt RELIEF that I didn't HAVE to spend $40; but like you've said in this video - I never HAD to buy it, it was always my choice 😅 I think if you stop looking at it you'll stop thinking about it and save yourself the money or the concern..! That card was probably going to end up in a box or file somewhere. If I somehow find a damaged version of the card for cheaper I might snatch it up, I don't care about intrinsic value, only my personal attachments unswayed by others perceptions 😊 EDIT; by the way, new Lads reaction video of the myth trailers and cat trailer is done, expect an upload next week!! ❤❤❤
Hey Laurie! Thank you for sharing your experience here! We're always happy to see you partake in the LADS community hahaha XD But I agree sometimes it's best to avoid seeing or being near certain things to regain a different perspective on the situation. It's like allowing yourself the opportunity to really ask yourself "Do I REALLY need this?" I wish I did that when I was younger because now I just have a bunch of kpop albums sitting in a box somewhere. While I love the music still, the albums themselves are collecting dust and I feel bad since each of them are close to $22 to $40 each. But lessons learned I suppose, now I just enjoy getting what I can with what funds I can set aside for things. Also I'll check out that new vid of yours soon! It's just been hectic with the 3.0 Update for Lads speaking of which... you should react to Nightly Rendezvous! hahaha Thanks again for dropping by!
Thank you for sharing this warm message to all lads players. We all need to know that we are the only one who has control of our money ,thoughts and values. A game can bring us joy, but we are the one that makes the game worthwhile in our lives. Taking care of ourselves is always the priority. A healthy player makes a fun game to enjoy ^^
If you earn money by work and you have money by work or even you have money that given by your parent and you want to spend your money in anything that you desire and you already take all the perspective and all the bad and good things that might happen if you spend the money on it, why not? I have money, I spend it, even not in this game, I spend into my art too because I have money and I can spend my own money. If someone judge you on how you spend the money, that was their problem, not your problem because you have money and can spend the money because you already know the consequence. Be happy, that's your money and if you get hard time after spend so much money in game, thats your problem. you already take that path.
Ultimately everyone needs to just remember we should be spending within our means for everything. Be it games, buying clothes or what. Also need to remember and be clear about what's important in life. Of course each person's yardstick for what is reasonable is going to be different but really needs to be learned in life to just manage your finances properly... I was considering the annual pass but am waiting for the prices to be released before deciding. I do usually buy the 2 lowest priced packs during banners to supplement my gems since the price per deep wish ticket for those 2 packs are within my tolerance level but I never buy the packs above that. more than $1 (in my currency) per pull is too expensive in my books (I can afford it but I don't want to :P). If the total price for the annual passes is higher for that I would skip it hehe. The prices for the annual pass in Japanese Yen look cheaper than the usual lower price packs though so I hope it goes similarly for the pricing for other countries. But then again I'm the kind of person who goes to the supermarket and compares prices for different brands by unit cost to decide what to buy 😅. I'm glad I don't care about the clothes in game since that's where people ended up spending a lot more.
As a f2p player, I've never felt the urge to spend because it's NEVER that serious. I can just watch the cards if i really want to see what it's about. The economy is HARD out here, esp. if you live in countries where the currency is worth almost nothing.
Yeah there are so many things available for purchasing and while I'm allowing myself to buy some stuff, I know I have to be careful not to get carried away. I'm really not sure about the annual pass, because even though I feel like I'll be playing the game all year, you never know what will happen and then if you aren't logging in then its not going to be worth the spend.
My advise is to focus on one character. If I was free to play Only focus on pulling for the cards you are interested. allow your self skip banners. I do not have everyones memory. Personally, I am not free to play. I do pay for my content, but I only pull for sylus content yes even quad banners i get my card and walk way. I tend to get the arum pass, 7 day pass, dayles ,and orbits to save up on tickets. In my situation, I skip other banners that are not mine love interest so that I don't have to break the bank. I save up on diamonds for events like quad banners i do not expect infold to release a lot of sylus content as their focus is the other three li so for my point of view I am safe . Caleb coming back so another opportunity for me to skip on solo banners to save my pulls for future cards I do want. Please do not feel obligated to pull for everybody, only spend within your financial limit. I watched the cardsfor free for the stories that i'm interested in on youtube. Enjoy the game for what it is a nice distraction, not your life.😅😅
i now know my limit when it comes to spending on this game. i wasn't able to get Xaiver's memory when he was cursed as a kitty boy and i got over it a few minutes later lol. besides, my bills, food, and my cat will always be my top priority. if i KNOW i'm finically stable for this month i will go ham sometimes and try to get the banner i TRULY want. 😄😄
That has been my exact process when it comes to these passes. Putting aside whether they're worth the price or not is the question 'what will one extra wish a week do for me?' As someone who pulls for raf, xavi and sylus you can imagine I'm rarely ever not pulling. In a situation like this what is one extra wish a week really going to do? Especially when there are rarely ever not ongoing banners and I won't be able to save them as a result. I figure its probably not worth it for me personally
This is exactly my own thoughts. It's nice for those who aren't spenders at all in the game but for us who pull very frequently, it doesn't really do much tbh. Weekly it feels like you're only saving $3 max per banner, even less than that. My math is probably wrong but that's what it feels like anyway. Like I'm still going to purchase the banner packs... the annual pass doesn't negate that fact.
I'm going to be honest, I'm considering buy the anual pass because of Caleb but I don't think expending money can help me with farming to upgrade the memories for battles so I'm here trying to make a decision and actually not sure what to do.
You're doing a fantastic job! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
I hope Ms Lavender herself doesn't feel too pressured to upload videos. With another love interest getting introduced into the game soon, ultimately means another LI to grind and spend money on. Hope she's taking care of herself well too.
I was seriously thinking this to! I’m always immensely grateful for her uploading each card but I do hope she doesn’t feel obligated 😭🫶

This! Said it perfectly! Your well being comes first! The game is meant to be an escape from life, a source of entertainment, and fun. Not stress!

The only reason I buy the 10 pulls is cuz i need 10 more to get my 100% guarantee (sulus is coming home) and save some pulls
