That time where he reads the pass, he actually stays in the middle to make it seem like there is more space than it is, while staying close enough to intercept. Thats how good he is

With Saka, Ødegård, Rice and Saliba being World Class and with Trossard, Havertz, Gabriel, Martinelli, White, Timber, Partey and Raya being Elite Class it’s great to watch them play. A great time to be an Arsenal fan.

Saka and rice aren't world class...nowhere near yet. They may become it but they ain't there yet! As for martinelli being elite don't make me laugh he is all pace zero end product. White also isn't elite and is a serious weak link for arsenal.

Saliba’s biggest and best trait for me is his timing. The way he times his tackles, his pressing and positioning is out of this world anyway he really deserves those 10 year contracts

He had to take risky chances to get the ball forward. Any other player (Rice or Jorghino) would've been passing the ball backward putting our defense under pressure. He got skinned by Rogers, but Rice is there to help him recover. There aren't many players that can break lines like Partey and still be a defensive force. Some criticize him too much instead of appreciating the bravery it takes to play the way he does. Without him, Odegaard doesn't even get the space to do his flicks and tricks, which makes him a net-positive player. He makes everyone around better. He doesn't need to have a perfect game cause none of the players do.

You know Raya's save off Watkins' header? He needed to make that save because Saliba and Timber got caught ball watching as Onana's deflected shot bounced off the crossbar back into play. You know who weren't ball watching? Both Watkins and Bailey attacked that ball.
Praise them all you want ... Arteta is having strong words with his players right now about how many chances they've been giving opposition players during the first two matches.
The key moment for Saliba wasn't his tackle on Ramsey but this moment when he failed to prevent Watkins going for the ball.

It’s not luck. It’s great scouting. The scouts picked him from some random French team and he proved to be worth it. Same can be said for Gabriel. Coming from small teams and playing big for us.

@@CashMNeyTrossard is more of a striker than Martinelli is. The simple run into the box Trossard made and shot with his first touch. It takes football intelligence to read the defence and anticipate where the ball might end up. Martinelli don't have it.
