The thing about the Dell ‘hit’ that pisses me off is goalies thinking they’re immune to retaliation, I wish the Sens would have demolished him not by scoring but by just running him the rest of the game. Three games is light.
My thought on situations like this, where there is a clear and malicious offense that would warrant a suspension and leads to an injury to a player... the team that lost the player to injury gets to choose a player on the other team. That chosen player is effectively suspended (in that he cannot play in games; he can still practice with the team, etc; he just can't play) for the extent of the injured player's time on IR. I dunno, maybe players like Dell would be a little less willing to take cheap shots, or at the very least GMs will be less willing to sign players with a history of cheap shots, if it meant THEIR star player wasn't available whenever these goons go off.
I am from St Louis. THAT ENTIRE GAME WAS A DANG-IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But tonight was much much better
the NHL needs an "Own Goal" stat like they have in Soccer. deflections and bounces still go to the original shooter. Definitely should've paired the de Haan clip with Leddy doing the exact same thing in the 3rd with a pass to Hagel
The last 5 minutes of last night’s VGK/FLA game has to be in next week’s addition. VGK just could not get out of their own way.
I dunno, maybe players like Dell would be a little less willing to take cheap shots, or at the very least GMs will be less willing to sign players with a history of cheap shots, if it meant THEIR star player wasn't available whenever these goons go off.
love how my 2 fave teams are in this lmao. once i saw them happening, im like see ya on dang its, which is the jets and blackhawks
Mackinnon practically breaking his own nose lol
Steve's collar in this video...Now that's a Dang It.
BUT, but! but if you cradle and shoot the puck and it goes into your net (the Hagelin 190 ft pass to his own empty net) counts as a goal for you. [OG] stats will become super relevant when looking at Defensive structures.
"-4 with 2 OGs in 10 games?"
Wow, you know you are the league's biggest baby when the commentators think it is notable that you didn't throw a tantrum.
You missed the Flyers scoring on the Sabres from center ice
The Aaron Dell hit deserves this line:
"That's a joke. That's an absolute joke"
I've been playing beer league for 25 years. I hope to get 62 career shots on goal this year
The calgary 62 shots should be a Hat Pick 100%
No bigger dang-it than the audio team for the blues/flames games. My god, the clicks and pops.
The NJ Devils are so bad that they can't even give us dang-its to enjoy. At least, when people were laughing at them, they were somewhat relevant.
The Hit where at first glance it looks like Taylor hall head hunted mackinnon but it was actually mackinnon’s own stick getting slammed into his face. Most unfortunate dang it.
i love u steve!!!
Steve : It's that time of the week again.. it's time for Steves dang-its!
Me : YEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I love, "Tend the goal"!!!!
Leafs players be like "you get it - no you get it - no you - no - me? - I thought you had it"
The real dang-it is the Wings' goal horn recording
@SPORTSNET You should make a show in-between Hat Picks and Dang Its called Dang Picks :)
