The nfl won’t be the same without the current stadium . That place is legendary and brings back memories of seeing Thurman Thomas and JimKelly back in the glory days of the nfl . Nothing like watching a snow game there with the Bills mafia throwing snow balls onto the field
It’s still gonna be an outdoor stadium so that part won’t change. I guess maybe the snow won’t be in the stands because of the canopy over them, but at least it’s still outside
I get the whole nostalgia thing but if I’m a fan, I would like to know that it’s possible to attend a game during those brutal Buffalo winters. You had to move one game to Detroit as a neutral site even though Buffalo was the home team. In a twist of fate, Buffalo had a game the very next week in the same place against the Lions. High time Buffalo goes indoor.

I've been to 27 NFL stadiums, some of those are no longer standing but most are modern and I have to say buffalo's current stadium isn't half as bad as I heard so many people reported it to be. I assume most people who say it's "Roadhouse" never actually watched a game there. it was completely upgraded from the 1 game I saw there in the 90's to just a few years ago. actually I like there stadium.

It’s like all ingenuity and creativity is no longer used in architecture. I know cost’s is the main factor, but enough is enough already!
I'll say this about what I know as Ralph Wilson, I've traveled to many different cities to see away Eagles games and Orchard Park was without doubt, the BEST environment, for pregame, stadium experience, and post-game.....the bleachers in the endzone was a whole different NFL experience alone...great people, great stadium, great time
In addition to the stadium, what I wish is they’d figure out some new traffic pattern getting in and then getting out- which is a friggin’ nightmare. I guess that’s probably all stadiums, arenas and ballparks but as a limo driver here in Buffalo- getting out is crazyyyyyy! It’s a free-for all. You’ve got all these lots along Southwestern Blvd with one exit point and immediately after the game lets out there are thousands of fans choking the sidewalks, blocking anybody in one of the lots from actually exiting! There HAS to be a better way!😩
I like it-I just wish we would’ve did something unique like a retractable roof, something you can open and close it with the flip of a switch…the best of both worlds and we’d actually get to HOST a Super Bowl! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The whole Buffalo Bills history only 2 games have been rescheduled to Detroit for snow related reasons. Most deue not being get to the stadium from snow packed roads.
I think this has the potential to be maybe 4th or 5th best in the league. I think the top 3 can go in any order to US Bank, Mercedes-Benz, and SoFi. Those are really just some of the peak of engineering and I think they are hard to compete with.
Nah cause if you think about it when they get storms like that off the lake, people can't get to the game anyway for the most part. Sure it'd be nice inside, but it'd also be mostly empty.
As a local and a tax payer, this is not what I want my money going to. Anyone familiar with the area, the bridge on Transit road before it turns to Southwestern, the road the stadium is on, is in major disrepair. The bridge where Transit road goes down to 1 lane before it opens back up to 2 lanes at the intersection of Transit and Southwestern. That bridge is falling apart. It used to be 2 lanes, now 1 because the state is afraid of having too much weight on it and too much weight on the sides. Our taxes that are so incredibly high should be going to our communities and infrastructure, not football stadiums. Next time you’re in the area, look underneath that bridge. The fact it’s still open to heavy commercial traffic is insane. This isn’t an uneducated, inexperienced opinion either.

It’s a very beautiful stadium, hopefully they do the field dimensions bigger for other sports events. I can see plenty of soccer here( including World Cup) here in the future.

It looks like it has actual seats. Lambeau Field has aluminum benches. It is definitely the NFL's version of Roadhouse but it somehow gets a pass because of nostalgia.
I knew people that turned in there season ticket at the Linc in Philly when they came over from the Veterans Stadium. The super vertical seats has freaked height sensitive people out and they got vertigo too.
Detroit Minnesota and bills should have an open air concept all that snow to have a home field advantage & makes watching football in the north much more exciting

I went to a bills game a few years ago and i actually thought the stadium was charming. It reminded me a lot of a college stadium from the design to the atmosphere and fans. Also the wind and cold is a WEAPON that itd be a crime ro deprive the Bills of by enclosing the new stadium.

Just happy keep it close to old location. Just got back from Cincinnati game and down town stadiums suck. Looks great but for fans not so much. Tailgating under running railroad tracks is lil wonky. Good people good times but much happier with stadium location in Buffalo. Will see what they build. Those Buffalo statues better be huge!
Absolutely NOT! NYS spends our money like crazy anyway so why not put it towards something that will benefit the people? They’ll make that money back in taxes in less than a decade. People get upset and bitch when it involves giving public money to fund a private business but don’t blink and eye when nearly half of our paycheck go to taxes or when the government gives themself a 25% raise. Besides subsidized programs for people already leaching off the state, I like seeing the money used as an investment in keeping the Bills here another 30 years. It's good they finally approved it. For awhile nobody wanted to build a stadium in buffalo, they wanted to relocate to another city even Toronto was named. I think Bon Jovi wanted to buy them to move there. He pissed off nearly everyone in upstate ny. Most of this happened during their awful streak of bad teams. Josh Allan really saved buffalo, nobody talks about moving a winning team. People haven't been this excited for buffalo since the Jim Kelly days in the 90s. Too bad my grandparents can't see them now. Diehard bills fans only rewarded with loss after loss, they'd be thrilled to see them in the playoffs.
You would think they would add 10k more in capacity since buffalo is good with supporting their bills through good and bad. Bills games were sold out even in their toughest times. 60k is too low. Make it an 80k stadium. I plan on have a big family in the future so the population is gunna grow for sure
I like this a lot better than the new Titans stadium. Their stadium (to me) resembles more of a Starbucks than a football stadium. At least the exterior.

1) no dome
2) 10,000 less capacity
3) Orchard Park. Why not downtown Buffalo, Amherst by UB or Niagara Falls?

They should make it an indoor stadium and make snow or let it in for all the NFL games.
You would think they would add 10k more in capacity since buffalo is good with supporting their bills through good and bad. Bills games were sold out even in their toughest times. 60k is too low. Make it an 80k stadium. I plan on have a big family in the future so the population is gunna grow for sure

I like this a lot better than the new Titans stadium. Their stadium (to me) resembles more of a Starbucks than a football stadium. At least the exterior.

The developer specializes in soccer stadiums and the rendering is basically a copy of their Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

That 1st photo was of a stadium that was to be built in downtown buffalo w/o any taxpayer money. The other is going to be.buolt in orchard park with 2 billion of taxpayer money
