Idk about y'all, but I'm more of a brown sugar type. The song, It doesn't hurt me or anything like that. I just wish we brown girls got a song or two written about our beautiful skin tone. Brown is beautiful too
im not sure if the translations are like exact because on the album the title of the song is sweatheart. it's just like in white love how when they say "white girl" they don't actually mean a caucasian they mean the actual color, which symbolizes purity
I'm brown too but I'm pretty sure they mean it in a kind of "pure sugar" way and not the legit the white
even tho i know that the meaning of "white" in this songs doesnt have anything to do with skin color - if you're interested i can recommend you a song that actually talks about literally "brown skin" ⬇️
