When I tell you this honey is so good... it's an understatement. The taste is unbelievable and the quality is superb. I just came from Dubai 2 weeks ago and I am not happy this honey is not readily available to me for purchase. I'm drinking to with the white honey as I type this. Where can I get this honey from.
Hello Doctor, How would you know if the honey is produced naturally or by feeding the bees artificially? I understand that there might not be mixing in the honey, but what guarantees it being natural and having all the nutrients real honey should have. Thanks.
Honey Labelled as "Dou'any" is one of the last true wild honey from Yemen, as it comes from both artifical and natural beehives set randomly at the bottom of "Wadi Douan aka Douan Valley " which is a fertile valley filled with mountainous herbs and other wildflowers and its the best you can get in the region, other samar or Sidir Honeys from saying Ras al Khaimah or Oman are equally good in grade and nutritional value. Honey harvesting in Yemen and Oman is done naturally in the scene that artificial beehives are set in the wild then harvested, everything the Bee's consume is from the surrounding area, which in most hot/dry seasons ain't much, hence the scarcity of wild honey and the ridiculously high price.
yup Douan or Douany both refer to the valley in Yemen that is known for producing top-notch Honey.....just make sure the thickness and consistency is viscous and samar honey is known for it dark brown almost blackish color so that's another indicator ( make sure the bottling date or age is less than 6 months too)
pure sidr honey is so expensive because it can only be collected twice a year, and the bees feed only off the sidr flower. it's called monofloral honey

اخي العزيز صحيح انه العسل فيه شفاء ، لكن هذا لا يعني انه ليس هناك عسل افضل من عسل لانه الله لم يحدد في القران ان كل العسل بنفس الجودة ، على العمموم ، البحوث الطبية تشير الى ان العسل اليمني المعروف بالسدر يقي من امراض كثرة ، ابحث في الجوجل و باللغة الانكيليزية
