Sir, if we put HCl in buffer solution than does the pH of the solution will get affected due to the presence of Cl- ions since it is a conjugate base , Does due to Cl- ions the pH of solution will increase?Or if NaOH is added does the presence of Na+ ions conjugate acid does contribute to the change in pH?
