I watched your channel after I fell in love with vintage teacups. I know you are an expert. I bought several vita gems teacup at an estate sale month ago only because I think they are pretty. Now because of my limited space I would like to either sell or give them away. But one teacup is Aynsley with big pink rose and a signature. That got my attention and search it on line. The signature is J.A.Bailey. It seems a rare piece and very expensive. But I really know nothing about this. The cup outside is pin color and the saucer has the same pink rose pattern as the inside cup. Is the any way you could help me to figure out this cup’s value? I don’t want to keep it but I never sell anything like this and can’t give people wrong information. It is not a perfect condition but just normal used sign like gold rim wore out some. Thank you and I really appreciate your help.

Hi Megan. If you still have the teacup, please send some photos of it to me at happygalsvintage@gmail.com . I will take a look and let you know what I think. Thanks for watching my videos!

This is how I collect tea pots: if I find one I like, that has no visible damage, and is priced relatively reasonably, I buy it!
    (Edit: P.S. I don't drink tea!)

Rainbo Catz, I think that is a smart way to collect teapots! Thanks for watching and I hope you have a great day. :)

I think I bought a dud from a thrift store. It has what looks like Japanese Scribbles on the bottom of the tea pot, but it wasn’t hand-painted. It is transfer printed and the luster ware glaze looks a bit cheap. Do you know if there is a website that would check it out for me on the cheap? The reason I am looking for cheap is because I feel I’m not gonna get more than five bucks for it.

Hi Te Re. Thanks for writing and watching. I am not aware of a website that would be able to check out your teapot for you, but chances are that if it looks like it isn't worth a lot, then it probably isn't. That doesn't mean that is doesn't have any value, just not as much as a teapot with more higher quality finishes.
