Finally, am retired and have no agenda and a lot of free time…to learn to crochet. Thought I’d try my hand in learning to crochet right handed. The fine motor skills, didn’t work. And when I skimmed down your detailed description, you offered a link to your tutorial for lefties! I have found your tutorial absolutely helpful for me and the bonus; you also have a slo-mo feature for people like myself. I feel petty revenge for learning to crochet with my left hand since my parents were very strict about teaching me to write with my right hand as a kid, something about it being “wrong” to be left-handed. So as an adult now I do the evil laughter as I crochet 🧶 with my left hand. Learning videos like this one come as a blessing

I've been crocheting forever, like since I was 10 or so, but a right handed person taught me and I'm left handed. It was really nice relearning some things that will hopefully make crocheting easier on me!

Thank for this video! You have given me hope that I can learn this. When I was a little girl (8 yrs. or so) my grandmother tried to teach me how to crochet. She was right-handed and I was left-handed. Needless to say she got very frustrated with me doing it wrong commented that I was too stupid to learn this. I was embarrassed and heartbroken. I never picked up a crochet needle again. Fast-forward 53 years my granddaughter wants to learn and I'm going to teach her with your incredibly easy to follow tutorials. Thank you so much.

I taught my niece in person who is left handed and yes it can be a challenge but we both had to push through and she did it! :-). I've been trying to figure out how to crochet (as a lefty) for YEARS and I could make the foundation chain but never could figure out the single crochet - thank you, thank, you, thank you for such a clear description. I did get a little lost on that first turn but I just kept backing up the video and studying until I figured it out.

I'm ambidextrous, but have never thought to crochet left handed. One of my students is left handed and asked me to teach her. I feel like a beginner all over again.
Any tips to make the edge look more neat? I am a clumsy lefty 😂 i never cut anything equal, i always love imperfection, but crochet is like a challenge i want to learn. i am having hard time with the edge, btw thank you so much for making this video for us lefty, your videos are the best from all other tutorial i watch. My stiches used to look like worm but your video help me to be more patient and neat 😂 Now the edge is my homework 😂 ❤❤❤ thank you goodknitkisses

I am a lefty and I am happy that found this video and watch it to do the single crochet but one thing I am not happy about after the third row you show us, you give the complete project and I am confused I don't know how to continue.

Knitting & crocheting on hold until next week. I’m on full time grandma mode for my youngest 18months. She’s got me running everywhere. That is besides her pup pup. 9 year old English Bulldog.
